Receiving communion on a regular basis is so important to your spiritual growth, as well as, to receive healing for your body and maintain divine health. Through receiving communion Jesus wanted you to remember that it was His very blood that destroyed the power of sin off of your life, released you from all condemnation and all guilt of sin, delivered you from the punishment for your sins and delivered you, a new man in Christ Jesus, into the Kingdom of God’s dear Son. Jesus also wanted you to receive communion so that you would remember the stripes placed on His back were for your healing and wholeness.
I suggest you take some time receiving communion and just linger in His presence, the presence of the Healer.
1 Corinthians 11:23-34 For I have received of the Lord that which also I delivered unto you, That the Lord Jesus the same night in which he was betrayed took bread: 24 And when he had given thanks, he brake it, and said, Take, eat: this is my body, which is broken for you: this do in remembrance of me. 25 After the same manner also he took the cup, when he had supped, saying, This cup is the new testament in my blood: this do ye, as oft as ye drink it, in remembrance of me. 26 For as often as ye eat this bread, and drink this cup, ye do shew the Lord's death till he come. 27 Wherefore whosoever shall eat this bread, and drink this cup of the Lord, unworthily, shall be guilty of the body and blood of the Lord. 28 But let a man examine himself, and so let him eat of that bread, and drink of that cup. 29 For he that eateth and drinketh unworthily, eateth and drinketh damnation to himself, not discerning the Lord's body. 30 For this cause many are weak and sickly among you, and many sleep. 31 For if we would judge ourselves, we should not be judged. 32 But when we are judged, we are chastened of the Lord, that we should not be condemned with the world. 33 Wherefore, my brethren, when ye come together to eat, tarry one for another. 34 And if any man hunger, let him eat at home; that ye come not together unto condemnation. And the rest will I set in order when I come. KJV
Matthew 26:26-28 And as they were eating, Jesus took bread, and blessed it, and brake it, and gave it to the disciples, and said, Take, eat; this is my body. 27 And he took the cup, and gave thanks, and gave it to them, saying, Drink ye all of it; 28 For this is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins. KJV
Luke 22:19-20 And he took bread, and gave thanks, and brake it, and gave unto them, saying, This is my body which is given for you: this do in remembrance of me. 20 Likewise also the cup after supper, saying, This cup is the new testament in my blood, which is shed for you. KJV
Proclamation Before the Breaking of the Bread:
Father God, in the name of Your Son Jesus my Saviour, I recognize I have a covenant with you that was ratified by the shed blood of Jesus at Calvary for me. Because Jesus’ body was broken for me, that His blood was shed for me; I acknowledge Jesus bore sin, sickness, disease, sorrow, grief, fear, torment, unforgiveness, strife, poverty, debt and lack for me. He gave His life to redeem me from the entire curse that came for not keeping the Law of Moses. Jesus’ substitutionary sacrifice for me has completed my redemption and has given me total deliverance from Satan working in my life. I realize I am a new creation in Christ Jesus and I realize my freedom has been bought and is paid for in full. Therefore, I am forgiven of all past, present and future sins of the flesh. I am redeemed. Father, I give you thanks for it all in Jesus’ name.
Break the Bread & Distribute It & Now Judge & Examine Yourself According to God’s Word:
Father God, in Jesus’ name, I examine myself, I judge myself according to the authority of Your written Word. Because of Jesus I have been made the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus. I am justified before You, it’s as though I had never sinned. All of my sins, past, present, and future are forgiven in Christ. I consider the old carnal man of the flesh now dead, being crucified at the cross. I am no longer a sinner but a new creation in Christ Jesus, living a life after the Spirit. I am no longer a sinner, but a saint by Jesus Christ.
I take Jesus as my Advocate and High Priest in areas where I have yielded to the flesh. I ask for Your forgiveness according to John 1:19.
I do not eat of this bread nor drink of this cup unworthily, for I rightly discern the Lord Jesus’ body was broken for the forgiveness of all my sins, to redeem me from every curse and for the total healing of my body. I receive communion now as the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus my Lord. I am free from all the works of Satan; spirit, soul and body.
After the same manner also He took the cup, when he had supped, saying, this cup is the New Testament in my blood: This do ye, as oft as ye drink it, in remembrance of me. For as often as ye eat this bread and drink this cup, ye do shew the Lord’s death till He come.
Partake of the Cup & Then Join Hands & Declare Together:
Father God, I give thanks to You for all that You have done for me in Christ Jesus. I confess this day, “I am blessed of the Lord.” I entered into a covenant with you at the time of my new birth. This covenant contains exceeding great and precious promises and I am now a partaker of all the promises! I declare because of Jesus, “I am healed. I am the redeemed. I am delivered from the authority of darkness. I am translated into the Kingdom of God’s Dear Son, Jesus Christ. I am right now the head and never the tail. I am above only and I will never be beneath. I come behind in no good thing. Everything I set my hands to do, it prospers. I give you praise continually for this new life I now enjoy in Jesus’ name. Amen.”
Here is an excellent confession that can follow communion:
I am redeemed from all the curse of the Law since Jesus became a curse for me. I will not tolerate these curses for they are not in my new covenant in Christ Jesus established in the righteousness of Jesus. I do not allow the curses of the Law to come on my body.
Christ Jesus has redeemed me from destruction and perishing before my time. This new covenant has given me the blessing of living a long, full and satisfying life.
Christ Jesus has redeemed me from all pestilences which bring agonizing death, including cancer. Christ is the big “C” in my life and not cancer.
Christ Jesus has redeemed me from tuberculosis, cancer, progressive wasting of my body, fever, inflammation, and effects of draught, decay, and mildew.
Christ Jesus has defeated my enemies and I am completed in Him.
Christ Jesus has redeemed me from boils, tumors, malignant diseases causing a discharge, scurvy (bleeding gums and livid skin patches), scabies, hives, rashes and all skin diseases, which cause an itch.
Christ Jesus has redeemed me from insanity. I have a sound mind and I am able to make right decisions.
Christ Jesus has redeemed me from blindness, confusion, unsettling of my mind, indecision because of lack of direction.
Christ Jesus has redeemed me from going crazy because of what I see going on around me.
Christ Jesus has redeemed me from leprosy, elephantiasis, infirmities of my knees and legs, and a permanent running sore that will not heal.
Christ Jesus has redeemed from every curse that tries to come on me and overtake me so that I am destroyed.
Christ Jesus has redeemed me from all sickness and plague having a long duration.
Christ Jesus has redeemed me from every disease that is in the world
Christ Jesus has redeemed me from all sickness that is known and all sickness that is not known.
Christ Jesus has redeemed me from every sickness that has ever been on the earth and ever will be on the earth.
Christ Jesus has redeemed me from exhaustion in my heart, my eyes, my mind, and my spirit.
Christ Jesus has redeemed from all the curses now!
Because of Christ Jesus none of these will come on my body.
My life is now in Christ Jesus, my Lord, and I am forever set free from all of these curses now on this earth!
I now look for the blessing of Christ on my body.
