Hearing the Father's Voice

Our mind is like the middle point of a titter-totter with our physical senses on the one end and the spirit man’s senses on the other end.  In order for us to hear the voice of Father God or Jesus or the Holy Spirit or angels we have to train ourselves to continually switch back and forth between our spiritual senses and our natural senses.

Mark 2:1-8 And again he entered into Capernaum, after some days; and it was noised that he was in the house.2 And straightway many were gathered together, insomuch that there was no room to receive them, no, not so much as about the door: and he preached the word unto them.3 And they come unto him, bringing one sick of the palsy, which was borne of four.4 And when they could not come nigh unto him for the press, they uncovered the roof where he was: and when they had broken it up, they let down the bed wherein the sick of the palsy lay.5 When Jesus saw their faith, he said unto the sick of the palsy, Son, thy sins be forgiven thee.6 But there were certain of the scribes sitting there, and reasoning in their hearts,7 Why doth this man thus speak blasphemies? who can forgive sins but God only?8 And immediately when Jesus perceived in his spirit that they so reasoned within themselves, he said unto them, Why reason ye these things in your hearts? KJV

This scripture tells us “immediately” Jesus perceived in His spirit what these religious scribes were thinking.  Where did Jesus perceive this?  Jesus perceived this in His spirit.  Father God did not tell Jesus what these scribes were thinking but Jesus perceived it in His spirit.

Perceive in the New Testament is used to describe the act of the mind picking up on something that is happening in the spirit, in your spirit man.
When we are around like demonic things or New Age things our minds immediately go to the spirit realm and something just doesn’t feel right in our spirit.  You may be in the physical, natural realm but then you look down on the inside of you and you can feel in your spirit there is something that is not right here.
I am sure you have been around someone and you can just tell by looking at them they are sad and depressed.  You have natural sensory information and you notice their body language is down or something like that.  But what you really notice is that down on the inside of you is a depression or a darkness about this person.  You are picking up, perceiving what is in your spirit.

So we can see from this scripture in Mark 2 that Jesus perceived in His spirit what the religious men were thinking instead of the Father telling Him.
