What God Is Looking For Is Obedience

Obedience is what worked to get the prophet’s widow out of debt in the Old Testament and obedience will do the same for you.  She listened to the man of God and obeyed and her financial breakthrough took her out of debt and the remainder of the increase kept her from ever going back into debt.

2 Kings 4:1-7 Now there cried a certain woman of the wives of the sons of the prophets unto Elisha, saying, Thy servant my husband is dead; and thou knowest that thy servant did fear the LORD: and the creditor is come to take unto him my two sons to be bondmen. 2 And Elisha said unto her, What shall I do for thee? tell me, what hast thou in the house? And she said, Thine handmaid hath not any thing in the house, save a pot of oil. 3 Then he said, Go, borrow thee vessels abroad of all thy neighbours, even empty vessels; borrow not a few. 4 And when thou art come in, thou shalt shut the door upon thee and upon thy sons, and shalt pour out into all those vessels, and thou shalt set aside that which is full. 5 So she went from him, and shut the door upon her and upon her sons, who brought the vessels to her; and she poured out. 6 And it came to pass, when the vessels were full, that she said unto her son, Bring me yet a vessel. And he said unto her, There is not a vessel more. And the oil stayed. 7 Then she came and told the man of God. And he said, Go, sell the oil, and pay thy debt, and live thou and thy children of the rest. KJV

We must take heed to the prophets of God in our time who are warning the body of Christ to get their house in order and get out of debt!  These are warnings to us now for the short period of time God is giving us to get out of bondage to this world system so we do not have to experience along with it the woes of the financial collapse this world is headed for.

If you will listen and obey the prophets of God like this woman did in the Old Testament, I believe you will experience, as did this woman, God given creative ideas and witty inventions that will bring increase enough to get you out of debt and you have enough for your future days so you never again have to go back into debt and be servant to the lenders.  God is not a respecter of persons.  If God did it once, He will do it.

God is the best Financial Advisor you can ever have available to you and He is on call 24/7.  Just like a financial advisor in this world He will not waste His time with those who are not willing to listen and obey the wisdom He imparts to them.  So make the decision today to take the time to listen to Him and immediately obey.
