The offering determines the dimension of the return.
Luke 6:38 Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. KJV
God has set everything up in seed form to multiply and to increase in the earth.
Gen 8:22 "While the earth remains, Seedtime and harvest, Cold and heat, Winter and summer, And day and night Shall not cease." NKJV
Seedtime and harvest are not ever going to cease on this earth. This is a law. So when you give an offering you are sowing a seed and can expect a harvest.
Gen 1:28 Then God blessed them, and God said to them, "Be fruitful and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it;” NKJV
God told Adam and Eve to be fruitful and multiply because God established everything on this earth with the law of fruitfulness and multiplication.
It is stupid to give an offering and not expect something back for you are ignoring the law of God. God set up this law of fruitfulness and multiplication so you could expect to receive multiplication on what you sowed.
It would be downright stupid for a farmer to go out and plant acres of seeds and not expect a harvest on the seeds nor even go out to harvest it. God’s law is in that seed to multiply and it must multiply.
God already has provided all the financial needs for every ministry and church but it is not there in literal form but in seed form. God has provided all the financial needs for every child of God even though it is not there where they can see it. It is in seed form.
God gives seed to you the sower making you a farmer. (2 Cor 9:10) So being set up by God as a farmer with seed, you sow financial offerings and you should expect to have all of your needs met. It might come back to you in money, favor, health restored, relationships restored, elimination of debt, reduction in your bills, others pay your bills, promotions, increase in pay, increase on your investments, God given investment plans, creative ideas and witty inventions, etc.
One time my husband and I had a bank out of state pay part of our property tax. We had no money in that bank but God used that bank to pay our property tax. Of course we notified the tax office and the bank but they never reversed the payment.
God has made you a farmer in the Kingdom to sow financial seed so that His laws can work and produce bigger and much better harvests than any return you can get on your money invested in this world. God talks about a thirty, sixty, hundred and even a thousand times return. You won’t get that in the world system.
2 Cor 9:6 But this I say: He who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and he who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully. NKJV
Bringing the tithe to the storehouse, the ministry that feeds you, God opens the windows of heaven and God meets all of your needs according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.
God has this pile of riches in glory and then you come and give a teaspoon offering and He summons the angels to give us back a teaspoon measure because the bible tells you whatever measure you use it will be measured back to you. You set the measure God will use when He gives back to you.
Luke 6:38 Give, and [gifts] will be given to you; good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over, will they pour into [the pouch formed by] the bosom [of your robe and used as a bag]. For with the measure you deal out [with the measure you use when you confer benefits on others], it will be measured back to you. AMP
A farmer sets the size of crop he wants to harvest by the number of seeds he sows. He will get a lot more to harvest if he sows seed in multiple acres than if he sowed a few seeds in a small plot of land.
Using the teaspoon measure it’s going to take a lot of teaspoons to pour you out the blessing you need, so that is when you have to increase your measure. I believe meditating 2 Cor 8 & 9 & Luke 6:38 will encourage you in your faith to make the switch to a bigger measure. God’s Word works. It cannot lie to you.
As I said before yes, there is more to just the sowing and reaping to see financial freedom and that is why I offer this study in finances to help you become faithful in all areas of money and handling financial matters.
Jesus told us, “He who is faithful with that which is least is faithful in much. If therefore you have not been faithful with unrighteous mammon, who will commit to your trust true riches?”
Become faithful with your giving and allow the Word of God, the Spirit of God and the truths I have given you help you further get a grip on faithfulness with unrighteous mammon so you receive the true riches, meaning the anointing, that will operate in your life and finances and you won’t want more money but you will realize what you really need is more of the anointing.
Start declaring today, “It’s not more money I need but it is the anointing I need to make me truly prosperous in every area of my life including my finances.”
You must see that the faithfulness Jesus talked about includes being faithful with the tithe and offerings as well. Determine to be faithful with the tithe and offerings so you aren’t robbing God and robbing yourself.
