The Money Test

You have to get your thinking right and in line with the Word of God and the principles of the Kingdom of God because without it money can become a destructive device in your life.  God, who wants you to experience and enjoy the abundance of the Kingdom of God, cannot afford to allow such abundance and extreme prosperity and wealth to come into your life before you get your thinking right.  That is why you must allow God to give you money tests such as,

You must realize you are preparing yourself for the transfer of wealth that is coming.  There may be some pain today in this transformation but think of the big picture of what God has promised you in Christ.  And even more than all of that is, you have to come to the reality of its either you love money and serve money or you love God and serve God.  You can’t do both.  You must see you are preparing yourself for the wealth that is coming where you will have greater challenges and greater and bigger tests with money and wealth than you can imagine.  Money, wealth and riches are going to be the biggest tests of your life whether you have little or you are extremely wealthy.  God must have your heart and not the wealth and the riches.  You must see the emptiness in your heart that comes from having wealth alone without God and remember the danger of the love of money that brings all kinds of evil into your life including demonic influence and oppression.  Money is a poor counterfeit to the life of righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Ghost and the prosperity of the Kingdom of God.

Make Jesus now the love of your life and the Lord over your money, financial affairs and all other areas of your life.  As your Lord, allow Him to show you any hidden things in your heart that would steal your heart, your affection and your trust in Him.

You see people get some money and possessions and things in their heart come to the surface and they become a different person.  They become arrogant, prideful, controlling, divorce their spouse, begin to live an immoral lifestyle, have no time for God, won’t give to the Church or ministries of God, and they live their lives fulfilling the lust of their flesh.  You see this a lot with people who win the lottery big time, people who gain fame and fortune like people in sports, the music industry or make it big in Hollywood.  What you see happening with these individuals was already in their hearts and their increase or coming into wealth brought it visibly to the surface.  Their thinking and attitude of being better and superior to others because they were financially better off than others was already in their heart.

That is why God must be allowed to prepare your heart so this doesn’t happen to you.

If you haven’t made God the Lord of your life and you aren’t using the principles of the Kingdom in everything you do including money and financial affairs, money will be a dangerous thing when it gets into your hands.

Jesus gave you warnings about the danger of having money and wealth and here is one of the warnings:

Matt 19:24 And again I say unto you, It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God. KJV

In the illustration Jesus gave us, the camel had to be stripped of everything to get through that small gate.  And Jesus said that it is easier for a camel to be stripped and go through that narrow gate than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God.

There’s a deceitful and seductive nature to money. So when the prosperity and the abundance of God comes to you, if you have not allowed God to prepare your heart and mind then it will deceive, destroy, control and tear your life apart.  This happens to even those who are moral, decent and generous people.

I hope you are realizing like I have that acquiring wealth is the biggest test and responsibility you can experience on this earth and you can only pass the money and wealth test with an intimate relationship with the Lord and making good use of His principles and His counsel.

I don’t want to cause fear of having money and wealth for it is the will of God to pour wealth into your hands so the Kingdom work can be done, but I do want to give you some warning of the dangers.  Intimacy with the Lord will allow you to avoid the dangers of money and wealth.

It is the will of the Lord to pour out His blessing in these last days, so get ready now for it with this teaching I am making available to you.

It is my greatest desire that you prosper as a result of your intimacy with the Lord, your love and worship for the Lord, activation of the Kingdom principles and as a result of your greatest desire is to serve Him by stewarding wealth for Kingdom expansion in this earth.
