To begin to understand the importance of the ministry of angels in our lives we have to understand that God our Father has sent His heavenly host from heaven so that we can have heaven’s assistance so that we are not just surviving on this earth as a mere men/women. After realizing how important it is to God and to us why angels are here we should be appreciative of their presence in our lives, love them and always cooperate with them.
Of course, again I need to say it, we are not to adore or worship angels even though they are awesome creatures. And as I mentioned before true God angels would not allow worship but demons posing as angels will desire your worship and they will allow it.
I am reminded of the Apostle John who tried to worship an angel recorded in the book of Revelations but the angel would not allow it.
Rev 19:10 And I fell at his feet to worship him. And he said unto me, See thou do it not: I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren that have the testimony of Jesus: worship God: for the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy. KJV
True angels of God will not allow you to worship them but demons posing as angels will encourage it.
Think of angels in this manner, they are God’s angels or heaven’s agents who love God and they worship Him and they want us to worship Him, the true and living God. They know what happened to Lucifer now Satan when he tried to take over the throne of God and got kicked out of heaven, so they will not allow you to worship them.
The ministry of angels is a part of our spiritual inheritance we received through Christ’s finished work.
In these dangerous times on earth we are going to see, I believe, more operation of demons, experience the anti-Christ spirit of hate towards believers in Christ and also the hate and opposition of the secular society against the Church and so the Church needs the supernatural resources of heavenly assistance. We need to know who they are and know we can have and must have a relationship with angels daily.
We have to come to realize that there is an unseen, invisible war going on around us. Our defeated enemy, although they have already lost, they are going to stand their ground and to take from us what is rightfully ours in Christ. The enemy is going to try to keep us worn out through day to day struggles and try to bring us into deep depression and try to crush us on every side and make things look totally impossible. So we need the warring angels to fight with our enemy so that the plan of God for our lives is not thwarted.
Knowing the angels are here and knowing what these angels are capable to do for us, which is supernatural, we can put them to work us. This is not the time for us to be living by our own wisdom, strength and ability. We need the help of these supernatural agents from heaven to work with us and minister to and for us.
Angels see us as the sons and daughters of God and heirs of all things. Let that sink in for a moment. THEY KNOW US AS SONS AND DAUGHTERS OF GOD AND HEIRS OF ALL THINGS. They see us, just as the bible declares it, as joint-heirs with Christ. They also see us, as the bible tells us, reigning in life with Christ already. Let that sink way down deep into your heart.
Angels get so excited when sinners come into the Kingdom and they rejoice. They rejoiced when we all got born again.
Luke 15:10 Likewise, I say unto you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner that repenteth. KJV
You can see from that scripture that they love us.
Angels can’t possible save us and bring us into the Kingdom but they rejoice at our born again experience. They were present when you got born again whether you knew it or not or even heard them, but they rejoiced when you received Jesus as your Savior.
The holy angels of God are our allies, watchers, and our guardians every hour of every day while we are on earth and out of their love for us they protect us from the evil and harm if we will cooperate with them and listen to them.
Ps 34:7 The angel of the LORD encampeth round about them that fear him, and delivereth them. KJV
Ps 91:11-12 For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways. 12 They shall bear thee up in their hands, lest thou dash thy foot against a stone. KJV
Heavenly angels know your name and address and they care that you are safe and sound. Because you are not just a name or a number with Father God, you are personally assigned angels to keep you in all of your ways.
Angels are to tell you by the spirit how to handle things such as finances. They desire that you be blessed and bless the Kingdom of God. They are from this Kingdom and so they want it to flourish and you to be blessed. They are here to advise us in all areas of our lives including finances and so we need to listen to God speak to us as well as His messenger angels. They have lived on this planet for a long time and so they possess a lot of wisdom.
Without the help of these heavenly creatures we will live defeated lives. In the spiritual dimension, the heavenly realm there is a lot more difficult war raging than any war on this earth. There are demons that are set up over nations and people and business and so we need angelic help in this invisible spirit realm. Angels face a common enemy with us and so they share with us an allegiance and loyalties and operate together with us in the enemy’s territory. The bible tells us that Satan is the god of this world, this world’s system and so we need the help of warring angels. If we ask for their help they are here to help us daily defeat the demonic plans set up to defeat us in our lives. The angels are available to us 24/7 so we are not alone in all the challenges we face day after day. The bible tells us we do not fight against flesh
Eph 6:12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. KJV
Our daily fight is not with people but demons of the kingdom of darkness. It is true we have the armor of God to use against our enemy but God also has given us angelic forces, angel allies to assist us and war in the heavenly dimension for us. We cannot make it without the assistance of angels.
Demons are agents of Satan just as angels are agents of God. Demons assist those who are not born again and are citizens of the kingdom of darkness.
The Church has been ignorant of what is going on around them in the spirit realm with the presence of angels and demonic spirit and so the angels will not come without our knowledge, permissions and our orders and that is exactly what has helped the enemy to defeat us and then we blame God, get mad and offended at God when it was our ignorance that defeated us.
2 Cor 4:16 Therefore we do not lose heart. Even though our outward man is perishing, yet the inward man is being renewed day by day. NKJV
Even though we are living in a body yet our inward man, spirit man will live on forever and is connected to the spirit realm where angels exist and through their aid and supernatural assistance we are renewed day by day.
Daniel tells us that the devil is going to wear out the saints in these last days and that’s why we need angelic supernatural help.
Dan 7:25 And he shall speak great words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think to change times and laws: and they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and the dividing of time. KJV
So we need to look to heaven and expect supernatural help in these days.
2 Cor 4:16-18 For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, is working for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory, 18 while we do not look at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen. For the things which are seen are temporary, but the things which are not seen are eternal. NKJV
We need to be looking and asking for angelic assistance daily.
Ps 103:20 Bless the LORD, ye his angels, that excel in strength, that do his commandments, hearkening unto the voice of his word. KJV
Angels come when we pray and when we confess the Word of God over our lives and circumstances. They unceasingly minister to us who are heirs of salvation.
Heb 1:14 Are they not all ministering spirits, sent forth to minister for them who shall be heirs of salvation? KJV
The angels are always here, even if you do not see them, to guide, direct, give favor, speak God’s instruction and revelation so that we prosper in all we do.
God told Israel He would send His angel before them to prosper them and he is giving us that promise as well.
Gen 24:7 …he shall send his angel before thee, KJV
Gen 24:40 And he said unto me, The LORD, before whom I walk, will send his angel with thee, and prosper thy way; KJV
Dan 3:28 Then Nebuchadnezzar spake, and said, Blessed be the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego, who hath sent his angel, and delivered his servants that trusted in him, and have changed the king's word, and yielded their bodies, that they might not serve nor worship any god, except their own God. KJV
Dan 6:22 My God hath sent his angel, and hath shut the lions' mouths, that they have not hurt me: KJV
Acts 12:11 And when Peter was come to himself, he said, Now I know of a surety, that the Lord hath sent his angel, and hath delivered me out of the hand of Herod, and from all the expectation of the people of the Jews. KJV
Rev 22:6 And he said unto me, These sayings are faithful and true: and the Lord God of the holy prophets sent his angel to shew unto his servants the things which must shortly be done. KJV
Let’s accept, enjoy and appreciate our relationship with angels; who are a part of our inheritance in Christ and take full advantage of their daily presence and supernatural help.
