Jesus, our Example, taught us how to overcome the tests and trails that are common to mankind and how to eliminate all the negative facts and negative circumstances as He always chose the Word of God over the facts and all the negative circumstances.

The bible tells us Jesus became flesh and dwelt among us but Jesus never consulted with His flesh what to do in His life or ministry.  Jesus never considered the facts, the circumstantial evidence, His feelings, His human intellect, His human reasoning and human training when He encountered a problem nor when He ministered to people.  Had He done so then He would have had to minister to them by natural means as His Church primarily is doing today.  Jesus never based His answers or actions by what His five physical senses were tell Him.  He knew the emotions, feelings, intellect, human reasoning, human training never could produce a miracle that only comes supernaturally by the realm of the spirit by the Word of God and the Spirit of God.

In Luke 4 Jesus, our Example, showed us the only way to face the devil and temptations and tests trials and get the victory again and again. Jesus came out victorious over all His tests and trials because He used the same method.

Luke 4:1-14 THEN JESUS, full of and controlled by the Holy Spirit, returned from the Jordan and was led in [by] the [Holy] Spirit.2 For (during) forty days in the wilderness (desert), where He was tempted ( tried, tested exceedingly) by the devil. And He ate nothing during those days, and when they were completed, He was hungry.3 Then the devil said to Him, If You are the Son of God, order this stone to turn into a loaf [of bread]. 4 And Jesus replied to him, It is written, Man shall not live and be sustained by (on) bread alone but by every word and expression of God.5 Then the devil took Him up to a high mountain and showed Him all the kingdoms of the habitable world in a moment of time [in the twinkling of an eye].6 And he said to Him, To You I will give all this power and authority and their glory (all their magnificence, excellence, preeminence, dignity, and grace), for it has been turned over to me, and I give it to whomever I will.7 Therefore if You will do homage to and worship me [just once], it shall all be Yours.8 And Jesus replied to him,Get behind Me, Satan! It is written, You shall do homage to and worship the Lord your God, and Him only shall you serve.9 Then he took Him to Jerusalem and set Him on a gable of the temple, and said to Him, If You are the Son of God, cast Yourself down from here;10 For it is written, He will give His angels charge over you to guard and watch over you closely and carefully;11 And on their hands they will bear you up, lest you strike your foot against a stone.12 And Jesus replied to him, [The Scripture] says, You shall not tempt (try, test exceedingly) the Lord your God.13 And when the devil had ended every [the complete cycle of] temptation, he [temporarily] left Him [that is, stood off from Him] until another more opportune and favorable time. 14 Then Jesus went back full of and under the power of the [Holy] Spirit into Galilee, and the fame of Him spread through the whole region round about. AMP

Jesus, our Example, always used the Word of God to defeat the devil and came out of every test and trial victorious.  He never listened to the lies of the enemy but always had a rebuttal containing the Word of Truth, the Word of God!  He talked back to the devil and the circumstances with the Word of God!

Jesus told the devil “Man shall not live by bread along but by every Word of God.”

Jesus is telling us if we are sick we go to the Word of God first.  When we are broke we go to the Word of God and get the answers.  When we have marriage and family problems just go to the Word of God.  When you don’t have any answer, go to the Word of God.  The Word of God gives light and life.

When we come into these times of tests and trials of our faith by the devil and his world system, we need to remember what Jesus told us and stick to the Word of God, choose the Word of God and we are going to have sweet victories.  It can’t be any other way for Jesus proved it time and time again!  We defeat this world system with the Word of God and here are some scriptures to use to overcome everything in this world:

1 John 5:4-5 For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.5 Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God? KJV

John 16:33 I have told you these things, so that in Me you may have [perfect] peace and confidence. In the world you have tribulation and trials and distress and frustration; but be of good cheer [take courage; be confident, certain, undaunted]! For I have overcome the world. [I have deprived it of power to harm you and have conquered it for you.]  AMP

I have just given you the Word of God that will overcome the trial of your faith in your financial situations no matter how big they are and no matter how threatening they may be.

I believe the Church has become so much like the world they don’t even know the Word of God will deliver them from every test and trail.  Most of the time the Church is going to every human resource they can use to get out of a test or trial and they forsake the mercy of God, the power of God to deliver them, and all of this seeking of human resources always leads them to confusion and then they just can’t hear the voice of God, when the Lord is speaking to them all the time.

Jonah 2:8 They that observe lying vanities forsake their own mercy. KJV

Lying vanities are what we would call negative facts, negative circumstantial evidence, evidence that tells us we are this or that instead of what the Word of God speaks about us and our situations.  We cannot focus on such evidence.  Faith in God has its own evidence and that is the only evidence we must consider and meditate and focus.

This is why at God’s Word Alive my primary purpose is to encourage and empower Christians with God’s Word so they no longer live out of the vanity of their mind (human reasoning, human intellect, human training) but out of the new man in Christ Jesus in His righteousness and His glory.

Seeking human resources and human answers instead of the heaven’s resources and Heaven’s wisdom is going to lead to mounting debt, financial failure, and foreclosures and living on the street and people blaming God for His failure to help them, not knowing they have forfeited the mercy of God and God’s help by observing, concentrating on, and believing the lying vanities, those lying, negative natural circumstances that speak contrary to the Word of God.

Can I just tell you the truth?  I want you to know the truth so that the Word of God can set you free from what you naturally can expect and naturally will experience and set you free from human reasoning and seeking human resources.

Col 3:1-3 If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God.2 Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth.3 For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God. KJV

Jesus always sought those things above and His affection was set on things above and not on things of this earth and therefore He always had answers, solutions that really made a difference in every situation and in the life of those He ministered to.

As you can see from this scripture, I am only telling you what the Word of God has already told you.  It’s not new news to you but I guarantee you that it is the best Good News you will ever hear in the test and trail of your faith.  Heaven is to be more real to us than the human, earth side of things!

I know some of you will say, “Well, God helps those who help themselves.”  I have not found that as truth one time in the scriptures for that is what it is theology and not biblical or truth.  But I have found this,

Isa 1:19 If you will only obey me and let me help you, then you will have plenty to eat. NLT

Isa 1:19 If you will only let me help you, if you will only obey, then I will make you rich. TLB

Who among us wants plenty to eat?  There are plenty of people these days that would answer, “Me.”  Who among us wants to be made rich?  Again, lots of people want to be rich.  Then it is going to happen if we let God help us.  Let the Word of God the Source of truth about everything concerning you help you.

Matt 6:31-33 Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed?32(For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things.33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. KJV

Prov 10:22 The blessing of the Lord — it makes [truly] rich, and He adds no sorrow with it [neither does toiling increase it]. AMP

Seeking Heaven and Heaven’s Kingdom answers is how we get all of our needs met, bills paid and how we can become rich.  This Kingdom was in the Garden of Eden and all of Adam and Eve’s needs were met without toil.  This is the same Kingdom that fed and watered the children of Israel for 40 years in the wilderness.

Jesus was full of and controlled by the Holy Spirit.  He stayed that way because Jesus never leaned towards the flesh, He never let His emotions control Him, He never dropped the Word of God once and went to His human reasoning and human training and said, “Now I got to figure this out here.  What am I going to do here.”  No, He had the answers by His spirit.

Isa 11:1-4 And there shall come forth a rod out of the stem of Jesse, and a Branch shall grow out of his roots:2 And the spirit of the LORD shall rest upon him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the LORD;3 And shall make him of quick understanding in the fear of the LORD: and he shall not judge after the sight of his eyes, neither reprove after the hearing of his ears:4 But with righteousness shall he judge the poor, and reprove with equity for the meek of the earth: KJV

There’s proof Jesus didn’t lean to His physical senses to judge, to discern but instead He judged things by His spirit by the Holy Spirit and His judgment was always right.  We have the same Spirit and we too can judge all things by our spirit and not by the sight of the eye and the hearing of the ears and always make right decisions.

Jesus did ask his disciples what to do one time but He already knew what He was going to do.  And the disciples, well they failed the test time and again and went to their human reasoning that never would have come up with a solution to the problem and certainly couldn’t produce the miracle that took place because human reasoning can never produce a miracle.  And that’s why we can’t use human reasoning if we need a miracle!

John 6:5-14 When Jesus then lifted up his eyes, and saw a great company come unto him, he saith unto Philip, Whence shall we buy bread, that these may eat?6 And this he said to prove him: for he himself knew what he would do.7 Philip answered him, Two hundred pennyworth of bread is not sufficient for them, that every one of them may take a little.8 One of his disciples, Andrew, Simon Peter's brother, saith unto him,9 There is a lad here, which hath five barley loaves, and two small fishes: but what are they among so many?10 And Jesus said, Make the men sit down. Now there was much grass in the place. So the men sat down, in number about five thousand.11 And Jesus took the loaves; and when he had given thanks, he distributed to the disciples, and the disciples to them that were set down; and likewise of the fishes as much as they would.12 When they were filled, he said unto his disciples, Gather up the fragments that remain, that nothing be lost.13 Therefore they gathered them together, and filled twelve baskets with the fragments of the five barley loaves, which remained over and above unto them that had eaten.14 Then those men, when they had seen the miracle that Jesus did, said, This is of a truth that prophet that should come into the world. KJV

At least two times it is recorded in the scriptures there was lack of food to feed the multitudes who came to hear Jesus preach and to be healed but in both causes Jesus never did commit Himself to human reasoning how to handle the situation. Jesus didn’t chime in with Philip and Andrew, His disciples, and say, “Boys, these people are hungry.  What are we going to do?  You are telling me there is a little boy here with five loaves and two small fish, what are you talking about?  That is not enough to feed this multitude.  That is crazy to think we can feed these people with five loaves and two small fish.  What we got to do is send them away, boys.  There’s no store here to buy food.  There’s no bank to loan us enough money to feed them.  The government will refuse us because we are a ministry.”  No, Jesus didn’t do any of that. Jesus never sought His human reasoning, His human intellect, His human training, His feelings and emotions for answers.  He never looked at problems from a human perspective for the answer, and Jesus never considered the facts.  No, Jesus had a supernatural plan because He sought the Kingdom first, He sought the inner voice of His spirit, and He sought the Word of God. He knew exactly what He was going to do and He made the people sit down in groups,  He looked up to Heaven (because Heaven was His Source) and He blessed the food and began distribution of the five loaves and two small fish and fed the multitude plus had twelve baskets left over! Jesus was not into human reasoning and human training and He proved it right here in this situation and He proved it for us.  He is our Example.  He is your Example today whatever negative circumstances and negative facts that are stacked against you.  He is telling you today choose the truth of God’s Word like I did as your Example.

I know it seems unreasonable to just consider the Word of God in these hard times but the Word of God has the power to release you into the answer, into the victory you need just as it did with Jesus time and again.

To further prove Jesus never considered the negative facts, the negative circumstances and prove the Word is enough for us in every trial and test of our faith is the truth Jesus never ministered to a person and told them, “Now I am going to help you and let’s just figure out what you are going to do about this illness.  I know you have had it a long time.  Maybe now is the time for you to see another physician.  Maybe this medication is what you need to be taking.”  And with the woman with the issue of blood, “Now, you have had that blood issue a long time and the doctors can do no more for you.  You are just going to have to live with it.”  No Jesus never ever reasoned with a person how to get the healing they needed.  He was the living Word and so the living Word, Jesus, healed them and delivered them from their destruction.  Jesus, the Living Word, is the same today and forever and He will not give you human solutions that fix it for a while and nor will He tell you, “You will just have to live with it,” but He will give you the Word of God that totally eliminates the problem even if human training, human intelligence tell you it is impossible and you are just going to have to live with it. And that is why no doctor should ever tell someone they are going to die.  God is the Creator of that body and He knows how to fix it.  He is the Living Word that destroys all word curses a doctor or anyone else including yourself has spoken over you. The Living Word who never lies told us, “With God all things are possible.”  Now you can’t believe that if you are prone to use your human intellect, human training and human reasoning and listen to the humanistic views of others.  Human ability is incapable of making all things possible.  That’s why you will never see human reasoning, human intelligence, human training produce a miracle.  It is impossible!  That’s an impossibility!

Jesus didn’t seek the wisdom of men for what He should do for He knew what He should do and He discerned it by His spirit.  Men and women came to Him for answers.  Even the religious leaders were astounded at His wisdom at the age of twelve.  Why?  Because Jesus’ wisdom was the Word of God.  Jesus sought the wisdom from above.  Why would Jesus do that?

James 3:15-17 This [superficial] wisdom is not such as comes down from above, but is earthly, unspiritual (animal), even devilish (demoniacal).16 For wherever there is jealousy (envy) and contention (rivalry and selfish ambition), there will also be confusion (unrest, disharmony, rebellion) and all sorts of evil and vile practices.17 But the wisdom from above is first of all pure (undefiled); then it is peace-loving, courteous (considerate, gentle). [It is willing to] yield to reason, full of compassion and good fruits; it is wholehearted and straightforward, impartial and unfeigned (free from doubts, wavering, and insincerity).  AMP

Jesus knew human wisdom is earthy, unspiritual and even devilish and produces confusion and unrest.

Jesus knew the wisdom from above, the wisdom of God is the truth.

The wisdom of God can never be improved upon.  God’s Word will stand forever and it will prove out to be the truth in every one of your situations where the negative facts and negative evidence is stacked against you.

Let me tell you the truth, the more you seek human answers to problems and human resources of help, there will come a time when there are no human answers or the human resources won’t be available to you any longer.

Jesus, the Father, the Holy Spirit are not telling the Church today to go to human reasoning or a human resource in order to find a way to work things out but instead they tell us:

Jer 33:3 Call to Me and I will answer you and show you great and mighty things, fenced in and hidden, which you do not know (do not distinguish and recognize, have knowledge of and understand). AMP

Again we see here in Jeremiah 33:3, it is seeking the Kingdom of God for answers and needs met and seeking those things above and seeking the wisdom that comes from above that always has real answers to problems.

Why are we seeing more and more commercials on TV?  I mean half the program seems to be commercials.  The devil is conditioning us to human remedies, human reasoning as the only answer.

My husband and I were watching a popular senior citizen program and all the commercials were geared towards remedies for seniors for their health, their insurance, their financial solutions and on and on.  Why is that?  So we will go further into this world system for the answers, for the remedies to all of our problems.  And here’s God’s warning for that:

Jer 17:5-8 Thus says the Lord: Cursed [with great evil] is the strong man who trusts in and relies on frail man, making weak [human] flesh his arm, and whose mind and heart turn aside from the Lord.6 For he shall be like a shrub or a person naked and destitute in the desert; and he shall not see any good come, but shall dwell in the parched places in the wilderness, in an uninhabited salt land.7[Most] blessed is the man who believes in, trusts in, and relies on the Lord, and whose hope and confidence the Lord is.8 For he shall be like a tree planted by the waters that spreads out its roots by the river; and it shall not see and fear when heat comes; but its leaf shall be green. It shall not be anxious and full of care in the year of drought, nor shall it cease yielding fruit.  AMP

We seek and trust in human resources and we will become destitute and that is what is happening in a lot of people’s lives today.

My warning to you is, look at all the fine print that goes with those commercials and you ought to see it isn’t for you.  I mean they say one thing and all the fine print cancels out pretty much what they just advertised.  And then because mankind has left God and His  wisdom pretty much out of everything; there are so many bad side affects to medication that the side effects are worse than your condition they prescribed the medication for.  And my favorite Good News I like to share all the time is, you won’t find that the case with the Word of God for there is no fine print attached to any promise of God and there are no disclaimers.  God knows what He said will work for anyone who will trust His Word and use it in their lives and it will work all the time!

God never intended for any person to have to rely on other human beings, human reasoning and human training that is all trial and error.  Why?  Because then there can be mistakes made that could end a life.  It could produce governments controlling people’s lives.  It would mean you would have to go into covenant with a lending institution that would have control of your life and finances.  It could lead you to a place where you find no answers to your health problem or lead you to a place where you have no answers that you desperately need for your business.

God Word always has the answers!  You can never come to no answer in God!  Selah!  Think on that!

The more you seek human wisdom and human reasoning, the less you will hear from God or I should say the less you will be able to hear God’s voice because God is speaking to you all the time.  This is why Jesus could clearly, all the time hear the voice of the Father because He didn’t let all this natural, carnal take over his mind.  Reasoning did not keep Jesus from doing what the Father told Him to do either.  He spit on the man’s eyes.  He told them to take away the stone at the tomb of Lazarus.  He told them to fill the water pots with water and bear it to the Governor at the wedding.  It wasn’t reasonable but Jesus heard the Father clearly and was obedient and got results!

The problem we have with hearing from God who is always speaking to us is that we have hardened our heart with all the fear in our lives and all the worry and doubt we have let in and all the time seeking human answers and human remedies and then we can’t possibly hear God’s voice.  God’s voice will not be clear to us.  We have let the Word play a secondary part in our lives or not at all and God speaks also through His Word.  God has the answer or answers! He and His Word are the answer but you have just hardened your heart and can’t hear God’s answers.  And most of the time God gets blamed that He is not speaking but that is a lie.  Your hardened heart is your problem.

How do you stop all this nonsense?  Meditate the Word and enter into worship and get quite and you will get the answers, the wisdom that you need.  It might come with the remembrance of a scripture.  You might think of a word or see a word with your mind’s eye.  You might be prompted to do say something or do something or be prompted to go here or there or be prompted simply not to do anything at all.  God’s voice is not loud but you will recognize it if you get quite and you are willing to listen and do what God speaks.

My twin sister, Jeanne, was having difficulty getting to sleep one night as she felt heaviness in her chest.  She got quite so the Lord could speak to her and she heard the Lord tell her to go and get some honey and take a tablespoon of the honey.  She actually had a vision in her mind’s eye of going to the kitchen and getting the honey and pouring it out on a tablespoon and taking it.  She obeyed the wisdom given to her and she went back to bed and pretty soon fell asleep.  The next morning when she awakened she had none of the symptoms she had experienced the night before.  Why?  Because she heard and obeyed the wisdom of God.  She could have become alarmed at the symptoms and drove to an emergency room for help but because she has trained herself in hearing from God she didn’t have to have the help of a human source because she instead got the help of a supernatural God.  She didn’t discount the prompting of the Lord or the vision to be a foolish thought.  She, like a child, just believed she heard from God and acted on the instruction God had given her.

Just like Jeanne, you too can train yourself to settle down you mind and emotions and feelings and reasoning and get quite and hear the wisdom of God.  This is what the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ should have been trained to do long before this but I still have hope it is not too late.

In the Old Testament people went to the prophet and priest in their day when they had a problem or God sent the prophet or the priest with God’s answers to those who were sick and those in poverty.  We see this also in the New Testament as people came to Jesus, the Prophet, for answers and healing and miracles.

Elisha, the prophet of God, was sent for when the captain of the host of the king of Syria, Naaman, developed leprosy that is incurable and God gave Naaman a miracle.  Again God used Elisha, the prophet, to help two widows who needed to feed their family and there was lack of food in their house and pay a debt when the widow had no money.  God sent the Word of God by His prophet and the Word spoken by the prophet Elisha created miracles for both.

2 Kings 5:1-14 Now Naaman, captain of the host of the king of Syria, was a great man with his master, and honourable, because by him the LORD had given deliverance unto Syria: he was also a mighty man in valour, but he was a leper.2 And the Syrians had gone out by companies, and had brought away captive out of the land of Israel a little maid; and she waited on Naaman's wife.3 And she said unto her mistress, Would God my lord were with the prophet that is in Samaria! for he would recover him of his leprosy.4 And one went in, and told his lord, saying, Thus and thus said the maid that is of the land of Israel.5 And the king of Syria said, Go to, go, and I will send a letter unto the king of Israel. And he departed, and took with him ten talents of silver, and six thousand pieces of gold, and ten changes of raiment.6 And he brought the letter to the king of Israel, saying, Now when this letter is come unto thee, behold, I have therewith sent Naaman my servant to thee, that thou mayest recover him of his leprosy.7 And it came to pass, when the king of Israel had read the letter, that he rent his clothes, and said, Am I God, to kill and to make alive, that this man doth send unto me to recover a man of his leprosy? wherefore consider, I pray you, and see how he seeketh a quarrel against me.8 And it was so, when Elisha the man of God had heard that the king of Israel had rent his clothes, that he sent to the king, saying, Wherefore hast thou rent thy clothes? let him come now to me, and he shall know that there is a prophet in Israel.9 So Naaman came with his horses and with his chariot, and stood at the door of the house of Elisha.10 And Elisha sent a messenger unto him, saying, Go and wash in the Jordan seven times, and thy flesh shall come again to thee, and thou shalt be clean.11 But Naaman was wroth, and went away, and said, Behold, I thought, He will surely come out to me, and stand, and call on the name of the LORD his God, and strike his hand over the place, and recover the leper.12 Are not Abana and Pharpar, rivers of Damascus, better than all the waters of Israel? may I not wash in them, and be clean? So he turned and went away in a rage.13 And his servants came near, and spake unto him, and said, My father, if the prophet had bid thee do some great thing, wouldest thou not have done it? how much rather then, when he saith to thee, Wash, and be clean?14 Then went he down, and dipped himself seven times in Jordan, according to the saying of the man of God: and his flesh came again like unto the flesh of a little child, and he was clean. KJV

1 Kings 17:1-16 And Elijah the Tishbite, who was of the inhabitants of Gilead, said unto Ahab, As the LORD God of Israel liveth, before whom I stand, there shall not be dew nor rain these years, but according to my word.2 And the word of the LORD came unto him, saying,3 Get thee hence, and turn thee eastward, and hide thyself by the brook Cherith, that is before Jordan.4 And it shall be, that thou shalt drink of the brook; and I have commanded the ravens to feed thee there.5 So he went and did according unto the word of the LORD: for he went and dwelt by the brook Cherith, that is before Jordan.6 And the ravens brought him bread and flesh in the morning, and bread and flesh in the evening; and he drank of the brook.7 And it came to pass after a while, that the brook dried up, because there had been no rain in the land.8 And the word of the LORD came unto him, saying,9 Arise, get thee to Zarephath, which belongeth to Zidon, and dwell there: behold, I have commanded a widow woman there to sustain thee.10 So he arose and went to Zarephath. And when he came to the gate of the city, behold, the widow woman was there gathering of sticks: and he called to her, and said, Fetch me, I pray thee, a little water in a vessel, that I may drink.11 And as she was going to fetch it, he called to her, and said, Bring me, I pray thee, a morsel of bread in thine hand.12 And she said, As the LORD thy God liveth, I have not a cake, but an handful of meal in a barrel, and a little oil in a cruse: and, behold, I am gathering two sticks, that I may go in and dress it for me and my son, that we may eat it, and die.13 And Elijah said unto her, Fear not; go and do as thou hast said: but make me thereof a little cake first, and bring it unto me, and after make for thee and for thy son.14 For thus saith the LORD God of Israel, The barrel of meal shall not waste, neither shall the cruse of oil fail, until the day that the LORD sendeth rain upon the earth.15 And she went and did according to the saying of Elijah: and she, and he, and her house, did eat many days.16 And the barrel of meal wasted not, neither did the cruse of oil fail, according to the word of the LORD, which he spake by Elijah. KJV

2 Kings 4:1-7 Now there cried a certain woman of the wives of the sons of the prophets unto Elisha, saying, Thy servant my husband is dead; and thou knowest that thy servant did fear the LORD: and the creditor is come to take unto him my two sons to be bondmen.2 And Elisha said unto her, What shall I do for thee? tell me, what hast thou in the house? And she said, Thine handmaid hath not any thing in the house, save a pot of oil.3 Then he said, Go, borrow thee vessels abroad of all thy neighbours, even empty vessels; borrow not a few.4 And when thou art come in, thou shalt shut the door upon thee and upon thy sons, and shalt pour out into all those vessels, and thou shalt set aside that which is full.5 So she went from him, and shut the door upon her and upon her sons, who brought the vessels to her; and she poured out.6 And it came to pass, when the vessels were full, that she said unto her son, Bring me yet a vessel. And he said unto her, There is not a vessel more. And the oil stayed.7 Then she came and told the man of God. And he said, Go, sell the oil, and pay thy debt, and live thou and thy children of the rest. KJV

Now most of the Church doesn’t even consider the answer they need for their healing or the answer they need when they are broke and in debt up to their eyeballs will come from the Word of God out of an anointed man or woman of God.  They just go to their human reasoning and human training and human resources and that is why they stay stuck in sickness and disease and die many time and why they stay broke and in debt because they have used all the human resources available to them and there is no human option they have left.

And these dear ones don’t need a man or woman of God to tell them, “Just go to this human resource and get it fixed.”  Sad to say, the Church can’t even get by without a human resource!  We’ve all been trained that way.  Jesus, our Example didn’t minister that way and His Church should not either.

Today when we have an infirmity in our body or are debt up to our eyeballs we don’t follow the pattern we find in these scriptures above.  No, we continue to seek our human reasoning and training and other’s reasoning and training and other human resources to fix the problem and lots of time things get worse or there comes a time there are no real answers.  I believe this is why we see so many people diagnosed with mental issues and the doctor has them on drugs and they walk around like a zombie.  And we do this in spite of our Lord’s warning to seek another Source, the Kingdom of God, when we come up against such things.  Again here is His warning and His answer to us:

Matt 6:24-34 No one can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will stand by and be devoted to the one and despise and be against the other. You cannot serve God and mammon ( deceitful riches, money, possessions, or whatever is trusted in).25 Therefore I tell you, stop being perpetually uneasy (anxious and worried) about your life, what you shall eat or what you shall drink; or about your body, what you shall put on. Is not life greater [in quality] than food, and the body [far above and more excellent] than clothing?26 Look at the birds of the air; they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns, and yet your heavenly Father keeps feeding them. Are you not worth much more than they?27 And who of you by worrying and being anxious can add one unit of measure (cubit) to his stature or to the span of his life?28 And why should you be anxious about clothes? Consider the lilies of the field and  learn thoroughly how they grow; they neither toil nor spin.29 Yet I tell you, even Solomon in all his magnificence (excellence, dignity, and grace) was not arrayed like one of these.30 But if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today is alive and green and tomorrow is tossed into the furnace, will He not much more surely clothe you, O you of little faith?31 Therefore do not worry and be anxious, saying, What are we going to have to eat? or, What are we going to have to drink? or, What are we going to have to wear?32 For the Gentiles (heathen) wish for and crave and diligently seek all these things, and your heavenly Father knows well that you need them all.33 But seek ( aim at and strive after) first of all His kingdom and His righteousness ( His way of doing and being right), and then all these things taken together will be given you besides.34 So do not worry or be anxious about tomorrow, for tomorrow will have worries and anxieties of its own. Jesus tells us we make the Word of God of no affect in our lives through human tradition, human reasoning:

Matt 15:2-6 Why do thy disciples transgress the tradition of the elders? for they wash not their hands when they eat bread.3 But he answered and said unto them, Why do ye also transgress the commandment of God by your tradition?4 For God commanded, saying, Honour thy father and mother: and, He that curseth father or mother, let him die the death.5 But ye say, Whosoever shall say to his father or his mother, It is a gift, by whatsoever thou mightest be profited by me;6 And honour not his father or his mother, he shall be free. Thus have ye made the commandment of God of none effect by your tradition. KJV

Where did traditions come from that make the Word of God of none affect?  From human reasoning.  That’s why the Church has become so carnal, so worldly and so religious without power because we have used the flesh, human reasoning, human training, human emotions and our five physical senses to guide us and give us answers and that is vanity and vexation of our spirit that is trying to give us the real answers by the Spirit of God.

We must choose the Word, the Truth, first above all else just as Jesus, our Example, always did and then we will have supernatural results just like Jesus, our Example.

Ps 107:19-20 Then they cry unto the LORD in their trouble, and he saveth them out of their distresses. 20 He sent his word, and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions. KJV
