The bible reveals to us there are innumerable angels, too many for us to count. And that is good news because we need all the help we can get in these challenging days. There are plenty of angels to go around to all of us and so we need to put them to work for us.
Luke 2:13 And suddenly there appeared with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God and saying, NASU
Heb 12:22-23 But you have come to Mount Zion and to the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, to an innumerable company of angels, NKJV
Angels out number demons two to one. One third of the angels of heaven were thrown out of heaven with Lucifer, a cherubim angel, when they tried to take over God’s throne.
Rev 12:1-4 And there appeared a great wonder in heaven; a woman clothed with the sun, and the moon under her feet, and upon her head a crown of twelve stars:2 And she being with child cried, travailing in birth, and pained to be delivered.3 And there appeared another wonder in heaven; and behold a great red dragon, having seven heads and ten horns, and seven crowns upon his heads.4 And his tail drew the third part of the stars of heaven, and did cast them to the earth: and the dragon stood before the woman which was ready to be delivered, for to devour her child as soon as it was born.KJV
All of these angels are subject to God and they are subject to us when we are subject to God and His Word. Angels will not obey a person who lives out of their soul or is a carnal minded person. They obey the voice of God and the voice of God’s Word and the bible tells us we are the voice of God’s Word and so when we confess or declare the Word of God over ourselves and our life situations they are dispatched. Again the angels are subject to us if we are subject to God and His Word and speak according to God’s Word and the plans and will of God for us. I hope you see the power of your words here and recognize you must speak according to what the Word of God declares about you in Christ and also speak according to the plans, purposes and will of God for you.
