We maintain a strong spirit by daily letting the Word go in our eyes and in our ears and coming out our mouths. The Word is applied to every situation by speaking it every day as our lifestyle and when we act on our faith in the Word and then things change, debts are eliminated, produces divine health, gives hope when the doctor says there is no hope and we can see every promise in the Word manifested.
Galatians 6:9 And let us not lose heart and grow weary and faint in acting nobly and doing right, for in due time and at the appointed season we shall reap, if we do not loosen and relax our courage and faint. AMP
The way to live in victory is to maintain a strong spirit with the Word daily going in your eyes and in your ears.
We don't wait from Sunday to Sunday to get the Word of God. One of the habits of strong believers is they read their Bibles daily, a daily spiritual regimen to stay strong so they don't lose what they have received.
Being responsible and develop our faith with the Word and not just lay back and allow the devil run over us but with the Word coming out of our mouths we resist the devil and temptation.
We are not whimps but with the Word coming out of our mouths we take our authority and dominion over the devil and circumstances.
Ephesians 6:10-11 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. 11 Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. KJV
We must go from the milk of the Word to the meat of the Word so we can hold fast to our faith and see victory after victory.
Christians are having a hard time and they don't know that their spirit is weak and feeble because they have not been taught to take the Word daily to strengthen them and their spirit is weakened. The spirit has to be daily fed the Word to remain strong to resist the devil and temptation.
There is a God side and a man's side to being an overcomer. The God's side is that He is going to provide us everything we need. The man's side is that we take what God has given us and we use it. The military are given weapons and sometime they are going to have to shoot that weapon. They can't stand with their weapon in their hand in the face of their enemy and not do anything. That has been the problem with the body of Christ but we are waxing stronger and stronger as we get revelation of who we are, whose we are and what we have and can do in Christ Jesus. This is the victory that overcomes the world, even our faith, even our believing God. So we must know from that that we must strengthen our faith, grow in faith, keep it strong, don't quit and know that faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of God. So there is no excuse for us not to be strong.
Hold fast to our confession of faith daily.
Hebrews 10:23 Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;) KJV
Declaring the Word of faith is our profession. We must take the Word, believe it, speak it and stand firm on it and act on it. It's either speaking our faith or we will be speaking doubt and unbelief that make our spirit weak. Faith is exercised by speaking or declaring the Word or what God has spoken. We can't live by faith and not speak the Word of God.
Make this declaration of faith: I will not be moved off of the Word of God forever. I shall not be afraid of evil tidings because my heart trusts in the LORD. My heart is fixed, established, trusting in the Lord so I am not afraid and will see my desire upon my enemies. In Jesus' Name, I am strong in the LORD and in the power of His might and I'm getting stronger every day.
I speak this word over you: I speak over every believer and I say you are strong in the LORD and you are getting stronger. You are taking hold of the Word, meditating the Word of God, confessing the Word, acting on the Word of God and growing up in Him and overcoming everything in the world with your faith. Your faith is getting stronger by hearing and hearing the Word of God.
Now you say this: I am strong in the Lord and in the power of His might and I'm getting stronger every day. The Word says, "Let the weak say, 'I am strong.'" I am getting stronger and I know how by the Word of God to maintain my strong spirit. I am daily putting the Word in my eyes and ears and coming out of my mouth to apply it to everything in my life and it is changing everything that needs changed.
A strong believer doesn't waver but they seize and lay hold of their faith and hope.
Hebrews 10:23 So let us seize and hold fast and retain without wavering the hope we cherish and confess and our acknowledgement of it, for He Who promised is reliable (sure) and faithful to His word. AMP
Faith and hope are a product of the Word going in our eyes and in our ears and coming out our mouths.

The purpose for having a strong spirit and developing a strong spiritual life is to minister to others. A person who is weakened in their spirit won't be able to help somebody else. If a person comes to them and asks for prayer because they got a bad report then that weak spirit will say, "What did they tell you? Oh that is terrible. Oh you are going to die." They won't be able to help them. But a strong spirit man will rise up and say, "This is what I believe. This is where I stand. I believe the Word of God. This is the Word of God for this.
