  • Debt is not of God.

God gave us His covenant people this covenant promise,

Deut 15:6 …and thou shalt lend unto many nations, but thou shalt not borrow; KJV

God has made covenant with us so that we could count on Him the God of abundance and the covenant provision of abundance.  Revelation of the covenant God has with you and acting in faith to receive the provision of the covenant of abundance there is no need for you to go into debt and borrow.  The covenant affords you the right to remain in the place of abundance where you are able to lend to many and not have to borrow.  You have God’s Word on that through the blood of Christ.

Many in the body of Christ are either ignorant of or have no revelation of this promise and so they are in bondage to debt and servants to the lender.

Prov 22:7 The rich rules over the poor, And the borrower is servant to the lender. NKJV

“Servant” here means when you are in debt you are in bondage to the lender.

I have given you a prayer, confession and scriptures to help you release your faith to make the God of the bible your God and your God of covenant and start living out of the covenant of abundance.

Prayer:

Lord, I have made debt my god.  I repent of that wickedness.  Forgive me Lord for I am truly sorrowful and repentant.  I take full responsibility for the debt I have gotten into and I repent to you for going into debt and selling myself, my family, my church, my ministry into slavery to the world’s system and being disobedient to the covenant promises.  I ask for your mercy and for your deliverance now, in Jesus’ name.  Amen.

Confession:

I declare today debt shall no longer be my god but the God of the bible.  In covenant with Him I enjoy and take full advantage of His covenant of abundance and now take hold of the covenant promise I shall lend to many nations but I shall not borrow ever again.  I declare today in covenant with God He has released me from all debt and I owe no man anything but to love him.
