I believe this is the hardest scripture\nfor a Christian to learn because it defies or completely goes against the\nworld\u2019s logic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The devil has spent a lot of time\nand effort in developing a culture when it comes to money and they come into\nthe church and try to import the world\u2019s thinking into the church regarding\nmoney.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I think we all understand Genesis\n8:22<\/em> where God spoke to Noah and said,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Genesis\n8:22 (KJV) <\/em><\/strong>While\nthe earth remaineth, seedtime and harvest, \u2026<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

That\u2019s\npart of what God told him but let\u2019s just major on this part.  So, as long as the earth is here, people will\nplant seed and get a harvest.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Proverbs\n11:24<\/em>\ntold us, \u201cThere is that scattereth, and yet\nincreaseth.\u201d<\/em> \nWe understand that from the perspective of a farmer. If you have a farm\nyou want increase, then you are going to have to sow some seed.  Is that a mental challenge to you?  No, you can figure that out. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Another example of sowing a seed is\nlet\u2019s say you want children.  There are\ntwo people, a man and a woman, who have to come together, and the man has to\nsow a seed.  A seed has to be used to\nproduce a baby.  That is not difficult to\nunderstand.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We understand the farmer sowing a\nseed to get a harvest or a man sowing a seed in order to get a baby and sowing\na seed to produce something anywhere else but when it comes church people and\ntheir money, they don\u2019t understand when it is time to use the same principle\nfor their own increase.  Somehow, we\nallow another voice to speak to us and try to rationalize us out of this\nprinciple, but it is the same principle. \nNothing changed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This sowing and reaping thing is not\na mystery.  It\u2019s just the enemy had\nworked on an area of sowing seed in the Kingdom of God.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A businessperson who is wealthy\nalways wants to keep investments going because they know that is the only way\nthey can increase. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Proverbs 11:24-25 (KJV) <\/em><\/strong>There is that scattereth, and yet increaseth;\u2026<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

In order for Christians to increase\nthey have to keep sowing seeds. This is the hardest <\/p>\n\n\n\n

principle for Christians to follow\nbecause logically it doesn\u2019t make sense, but we just read from the Bible, \u201cThere\nis that scattereth and yet increases,\u201d so if we do what the Bible tells us then\nwe get the Bible result of increase.  God\nneeds your seed to increase you.  Why\ndoes He want to increase you?  Because He\npromised it to Abraham and his seed, and you are Abraham\u2019s seed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Psalm\n115:14 (KJV) <\/em><\/strong>The\nLORD shall increase you more and\nmore, you and your children.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

This is\npart of the Abrahamic covenant. When God was promising it to Abraham, He was promising\nit to me and your children as well. \nAnything He said to Abraham He is saying to you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Galatians\n4:28 (KJV) <\/em><\/strong>Now\nwe, brethren, as Isaac was, are the children of promise.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Genesis 26:12 (KJV) <\/em><\/strong>Then Isaac sowed in that land, and received in the same year\nan hundredfold: \u2026<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

A child\nof promise, Isaac had a need and he sowed seed in his land in the middle of\nfamine and he got a harvest of a hundredfold. \nAs a child of promise also, God\nmeans for you to increase. He does not mean for you to live at the level of what\nyour job is paying you.  That system pays\nyou just enough to keep just one nostril above water.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sowing and reaping is how I\nincreased in my own life.  I couldn\u2019t\nlook at what I had but what I wanted. \nSame with you.  If you keep\nlooking at what you have, it will keep you from sowing because if you are being\nguided by the Holy Spirit, He is going to tell you to sow and sow when you don\u2019t\nsee how you can do it.  Holy Spirit is\nnot going to tell you what you have. \nHoly Spirit will tell you what to sow. \nHe will always disregard what you got.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

So, here\u2019s Peter, Luke 5<\/em>.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Luke 5:1-9 (KJV) <\/em><\/strong>And it came to pass, that, as the people pressed upon him to\nhear the word of God, he stood by the lake of Gennesaret, 2 <\/sup>And saw two ships standing by the lake: but\nthe fishermen were gone out of them, and were washing their nets. 3 <\/sup>And he entered into one of the ships, which\nwas Simon’s, and prayed him that he would thrust out a little from the land.\nAnd he sat down, and taught the people out of the ship. 4 <\/sup>Now when he had left speaking, he said unto\nSimon, Launch out into the deep, and let down your nets for a draught. 5 <\/sup>And Simon answering said unto him, Master,\nwe have toiled all the night, and have taken nothing: nevertheless at thy word\nI will let down the net. 6 <\/sup>And when\nthey had this done, they inclosed a great multitude of fishes: and their net\nbrake. 7 <\/sup>And they beckoned unto\ntheir partners, which were in the other ship, that they should come and help\nthem. And they came, and filled both the ships, so that they began to sink. 8 <\/sup>When Simon Peter saw it, he fell down at\nJesus’ knees, saying, Depart from me; for I am a sinful man, O Lord. 9 <\/sup>For he was astonished, and all that were\nwith him, at the draught of the fishes which they had taken: <\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

This is what I believe, Peter caught\na one year\u2019s catch in one hour.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

A man was in a meeting and they were\nreceiving the offering and talking about sowing and reaping and the man didn\u2019t\nhave any money.  So, he pulled his shoes\noff and went up and gave his shoes as an offering. Somebody stuffed his shoes\nin the basket with the money and asked who the shoes belong to.  He went and picked his shoes up with the\nmoney inside them.  In this one meeting,\nthis quick financial increase broke the power of poverty off his life. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I am telling you to keep sowing and\nbelieving for a harvest in no time because you don\u2019t have to wait. Just hear what\nI am saying to you, release faith for it and then act on that faith.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

My husband and I have experienced\nthat kind of quick financial miracles several times and we have never quit\nsowing and reaping.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

God tells us He is no respecter of\npersons.  What He did for Peter and\nothers He is going to do for you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Remember what I shared with you\nearlier?  Proverbs 11:24-25 (KJV) <\/em><\/strong>There\nis that scattereth, and yet increaseth; \u2026  <\/em>I believe this is the hardest scripture\nfor a Christian to learn because it defies or completely goes against the\nworld\u2019s logic; but this principle is a promise to you from the Lord and as you\ncontinue to act on it, it will increase you more and more.  I am believing the Lord you will no longer\nquestion this scripture but use it against the devil by acting on it and\nincrease more and more.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
