How do you determine if your salary is your source?

Genesis 12:1-4 (KJV) Now the LORD had said unto Abram, Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and from thy father’s house, unto a land that I will shew thee: 2 And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing: 3 And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed. 4 So Abram departed, as the LORD had spoken unto him; and Lot went with him: and Abram was seventy and five years old when he departed out of Haran.

What is this saying?  God is saying to Abraham, I want you to come out of your system that you have been depending on and I want you to follow Me.  In other words, switch systems. Now you have been depending on the system that you have been taught from the world and I call that the system of Babylon.  He said to Abraham, don’t depend on that system any more.  Let’s switch systems and put you on another system here.  The system I am going to put you on, is I am going to be your Supply. I am going to take care of you.  I do not want you to look to another person as your source for I am going to take care of you. I really believe that is what God wants for the church.  He wants the church to switch systems.

We have been born again and that new birth experience basically brought us out of the kingdom of darkness into the Kingdom of God’s dear Son but what we have to do now is, we have switched lords and now we need to switch providers.  And the tendency is to, even though we have come into the Kingdom of God we still see the job as our source.  Now here is the way you can tell it is your source; that you don’t have any more then your salary can produce.  That salary is dictating what you can have.  That is not supposed to happen at all.

So, what happened was, Genesis 31:38 and this was Abraham’s grandson Jacob,

Genesis 31:38 (KJV) This twenty years have I been with thee; …

Jacob then tells Laban all the things he had done.  So, Laban, his uncle, kept him for 20 years from accumulating wealth.  Jacob could not accumulate anything.  Jacob told Laban,

Genesis 31:41 (KJV) Thus have I been twenty years in thy house; …and thou hast changed my wages ten times.

He is saying, every time I seem to be getting ahead you change things on me.

For you it may be, every time I seem to be getting ahead, you raise the taxes.  Or, every time I seem to be getting ahead the price of gasoline goes up.  Whatever it is, the enemy deceptively is keeping control of the masses.  See, the devil has picked out people to give a bunch of money to and use it his way.  It’s not the people but it is the devil.

Luke 4:5-7 (KJV) And the devil, taking him up into an high mountain, shewed unto him all the kingdoms of the world in a moment of time. 6 And the devil said unto him, All this power will I give thee, and the glory of them: for that is delivered unto me; and to whomsoever I will I give it. 7 If thou therefore wilt worship me, all shall be thine.

In other words, if you do what I say I will give you this.

You get people who say they are going to build churches from now on with all of this money and see how long they keep it.  They say they are going to build churches and help evangelists go out and so forth.  The enemy is not going to have that.  He might be crazy, but he is not a fool; because he is going to make sure that money does not go to doing God’s work.  He wants to keep it out of the church.

You see some of these really godless movies and somebody financed that.  The church could take the money from one of those godless movies and build churches; but the devil is not going to do that, because right now he thinks he is in control of the money supply but this is the time for the church to take back the economics of the whole world.  We are not mad at people.  It is the devil who is trying to control things.  So, as long as we don’t have the money the moral slide will continue and so we got to cut that off because we want to change that.  Say amen.

I am not talking about people so don’t get me wrong.  I am talking about actually switching systems so that how we do things, he cannot stop us.  See, if he can hold you to your salary, he can hold the church to a building project; because you can’t give above what you can afford to give.  But if you ever give, it shall be given to you good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over; you will have more to give.  More than enough.

No, your income is not your salary.  Make sure of that; because you want to make sure that you have switched systems.

Remember Israel came out of Egypt and headed to Canaan land that represented the best of God. Say, the best of God.  We are supposed to be living large.

So, God told Abraham to come out of Babylon system and look what Abraham ended up with.

Genesis 24:35 (KJV) And the LORD hath blessed my master greatly; …

There is nothing wrong with being blessed greatly.  I don’t know what being blessed greatly means to you but let’s see what being blessed greatly meant to Abraham.

Genesis 24:35 (KJV) And the LORD hath blessed my master greatly; and he is become great: and he hath given him flocks, and herds, and silver, and gold, and menservants, and maidservants, and camels, and asses.

That is great.  What He did for Abraham, He is going to do for you; but you have to come out of the Babylonian system.  You can no longer look at that system as your source because God won’t compete with that system.  He wants to be your sole Source and Supply.  Say amen.

God never wants you to be in lack and just enough; but He wants you to have more then enough so you are blessed, and you help to finance the Kingdom of God.

Say this with me, I am coming off of the system of Babylon.  I believe by this declaration, today I am coming off of the system of Babylon.  No longer will my increase be only my salary; but now from now on my salary is going to be part of my seed sown and it will bring a harvest back to me that I from this time will have more then enough for everything the Lord wants me to give into in the Name of Jesus.  Say amen.
