My Identity
Janie Baer was born again around the age of nine. At this early age she began an intimate relationship with God and began to have real hunger for God and for the Word of God.
From that time on she has ministered to many encouraging words and truths from the scriptures to set them free and prayed with many even before she became an elder and a congregational pastor in her church. After a few years of pastoring the Lord spoke to her to leave pastoring and go out into the marketplace and minister. That’s when she and her husband, Wayne, created her website, God’s Word Alive. It is through God’s Word Alive she discovered her writing gift God had given her, as well as, a broader means of continuing her ministry of encouragement to other Christians.
Christians will find many inspiring articles included on God’s Word Alive, as well as, discover encouraging blogs on Janie’s blog to help them find the new man they are in Christ, experience courage in discouraging times, and come to the reality of God’s unconditional love, God’s peace, joy, faith and hope in Christ.
She has produced a CD, “God’s Word Spoken” as a resource to encourage Christians to speak God’s Word over their lives and change their world. She has also published three books, “God’s Health Care”, “Father God Loves Me Forever!”, and “In Him We Live, Move & Have Our Being”.
Janie’s greatest passion is to see the body of Christ live in divine health that is part of their inheritance in Christ. Janie is so passionate about this because she, her husband, Wayne and their son, Timothy, have used the Word of God for their medicine for over thirty years and have not had a doctor’s appointment, hospital stay or taken medicine in all those thirty years. She wants to speak up for Jesus and the health care He provided for His body and see them leave the health care systems of this world!
God has also given Janie a desire to minister to those in governmental positions. Janie, Wayne and Timothy, along with a group of other Christians, have a monthly hour of prayer with two local mayors. They not only pray but also speak words from the Lord over these mayors and their cities. The mayors have acknowledged the hand of the Lord on their cities.
My Mission
My greatest desire and the purpose of my products are to empower Christians with God's Word, making it come alive to them and thus able to experience the power, anointing contained in it. I want to make them realize that those are not just words printed on a page, but they are spirit and have the life of God in them. I want them to see the new life they have in the spirit written about in the New Testament. I want them to become aware that their instruction, correction, encouragement and gaining of victory after victory will come as a result of these power filled words coming out of their mouths.
I want my products to help them find God's unconditional, amazing love and start experiencing it on a daily basis and also see the power in the Word to bring changes in every area of their lives: living in divine health, experiencing the Kingdom of God's prosperity flowing, making their marriages whole, families living in peace, and their destinies fulfilled affecting the world around them.
As it is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God. Matthew 4:4 KJV
My Vision
Seeing Christians use the Word of God skillfully as a tool, building beautiful and whole lives in the Kingdom of God much like a carpenter uses his tools and builds beautiful houses. As a result of the power of the Word of God, they will influence and make an impact every day on those around them much like our Lord Jesus Christ did when He walked this earth.
John 14:12 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father. KJV
Statement Of Faith
We believe in one God-Father, Son and Holy Spirit, Creator of all things.
We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ, the only begotten Son of God, was conceived of the Holy Spirit, born of the virgin Mary, was crucified, buried, resurrected, ascended into heaven, and is now seated at the right hand of God the Father and is true God and true man.
We believe the Bible in its entirety to be the inspired Word of God and the infallible rule of faith and conduct.
We believe in the resurrection of the dead, the eternal happiness of the saved, and the eternal punishment of those who do not accept Jesus Christ as their Savior and Lord
We believe in personal salvation of believers through the shed blood of Jesus Christ.
We believe in sanctification through the Word of God and by the Holy Spirit, and we believe in personal holiness, purity of heart and life.
We believe in divine healing, through faith in the Name of Jesus Christ, and that healing is included in the Redemption.
We believe in water baptism, in the Baptism in the Holy Spirit as distinct from the New Birth, in speaking with tongues as the Spirit of God gives utterance (Acts 2:4), in the gifts of the Spirit, and the evidence of the fruit of the Spirit. We believe that all of these are available to believers.
We believe in the Christian's hope, the soon coming personal return of the Lord Jesus Christ.
Salvation Prayer
PRAYER FOR SALVATION & BAPTISM OF THE HOLY SPIRIT
If you do not know Jesus Christ as your personal Savior and Lord, simply pray the following prayer in faith:
Heavenly Father, I come to you in the name of your son Jesus Christ. You have said in your Word, the Bible, that whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved from their sins and shall have eternal life. (Romans 10:13, John 3:16)
Father, I am calling on Jesus right now to be the Savior of my sins. I believe Jesus died on the cross for the punishment of all of my sins (past, present, and future). I believe you exhausted your wrath on Him for my sins. I believe He was raised from the dead in order for me to be justified before you (just as if I had never sinned against you). And I believe He is alive right now and seated at your right hand as the High Priest over this new covenant that is now given to me by His blood.
Lord Jesus Christ, I now ask you to come into my heart and live your life in me and through me. I repent of my sins; I turn from a life of sin and surrender myself totally and completely to you.
Heavenly Father, by faith I now confess Jesus Christ as the Lord of my life and from this day forward, I give my life to serving you. Fill me with your Holy Spirit of power and give me the ability to speak to in other tongues (Luke 11:13; Acts 2:4).
I receive your abundant, extravagant, unconditional love and your marvelous, unearned grace (favor) and your peace that passes all understanding and means nothing missing and nothing broken in my life because of Christ.
Welcome to the big family of God!!!!!
Now that you have received Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, you need to receive the Baptism in the Holy Spirit so that you can have the power that Jesus operated in on this earth.
How do you receive the Baptism in The Holy Spirit? You only have to do two things.
First, once you have accepted Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Savior you just have to ask God to baptize you in the Holy Spirit. The Bible says, "Ask, and it shall be given to you" (Luke 11:9).
Second, believe you have in fact received this gift from God. The apostle Paul, writing to the Galatians, said, "Did you receive the Spirit by the works of the law, or by hearing with faith?" (Galatians 3:2). The answer, obviously, is faith. You have to believe that if you ask, you will receive.
Pray this prayer if you sincerely desire to receive the baptism in God's Holy Spirit: "Heavenly Father, I thank You that Jesus saved me. I pray that the Holy Spirit will come upon me. Lord Jesus, baptize me now in the Holy Spirit. I receive the baptism in the Holy Spirit right now by faith in Your Word. May the anointing, the glory, and the power of God come upon me and into my life right now. May I be empowered for service from this day forward. Thank You, Lord Jesus, for baptizing me in Your Holy Spirit. Amen." Now, having asked and received, begin to practice the power of the Spirit. An ideal place to begin is where the first apostles did, praising God in a new language. To do this, begin praising God out loud in whatever words come to you. Tell Him how much you love Him. Thank Him, worship Him, and yield your voice to Him. Now let Him give you new words of praise you never heard before. Praise Him with those words, too. You'll find that this can
be a very rewarding experience of communication with God that will build up your faith. Continue to pray to God each day in the language that the Holy Spirit has given you. It is so important to start reading the Bible. The best place to start is the Book of Acts in the New Testament and the books that follow. The New Testament contains the new covenant you now have with God through Jesus Christ. The Book of Acts has not been completed since the Body of Christ still remains on this earth (that's you and me). I also encourage you to look on my site for the "In Him" scriptures and confessions that will further tell you about your new nature in Christ and who you are and what you can expect through your life in Him.
