Operate In Faith With The Assistance Of Patience And Joy

By Janie Baer

When you operate in faith you must not look sad. James tells you,

James 1:2-4 My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations (tests or trials); 3 Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience. 4 But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing. KJV

Faith and patience at work for you, you have to come out on the other side with “no wants”.

James realized and you must realize that joy is a fruit of the Spirit.  That makes joy your supernatural disposition.  (Gal 5:22-25)  Joy being your supernatural disposition, you can yield to it and then when things look their worst you will remain full of peace and joy.  You are living out of the Kingdom of God and Rom 14:17 tells you that the Kingdom of God is righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Ghost.  In all situations you should be looking, hearing, feeling inside your spirit where you will feel the peace and the joy of heaven and experience days of heaven upon the earth. (Deut 11:21)  You must experience heaven now as you walk in the spirit instead of yielding to the flesh, senses that only have contact with earth.

The truth be know, joy is a fruit of your born again spirit and just as important for you to know is that joy is a power that breaks the power of all natural laws.

Your enemy doesn’t want you to have joy and joy flow out of you even in difficult times because then you will be a testimony to others they too can believe God, have faith and see victory after victory themselves.  They won’t then just read a Bible but you will be a living Bible for them to look at and see the great God of the Bible at work in your life.  This is what the world is looking for in you.  If they don’t see the greatness of God at work in your life, then they will go to Satan’s counterfeit.  You are a living epistle as Paul declared in 2 Cor 3:2,3.

Operating in faith requires that you must apply patience so that it can work along with your faith.  Patience is not just sitting around and waiting for something to happen.  Patience means you are consistently constant in your conviction and application of your faith.  Patience does mean that you stay the course of allowing faith to work on your behalf even when circumstances look like nothing is happening.  You stay with faith no matter what.  In this process, you can be assured when you act in faith and apply patience is when the devil will begin his battle for your faith.
