Let’s talk about sacrificial giving or grace giving that is giving beyond the natural.  We will start off with Psalm 126:5,6,

Psalm 126:5-6 (KJV) They that sow in tears shall reap in joy. 6 He that goeth forth and weepeth, bearing precious seed, shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, bringing his sheaves with him.

Sacrificial giving can be seen in what happened to Joseph who was sold into bondage in Egypt by his brothers who were jealous of him. Joseph is being raised up in Egypt and becomes second in command to Pharaoh because of the economic revelation he had of what to do in famine.  Joseph had to go to Egypt because he couldn’t bring forth that revelation where there was strife with his jealous brothers.

In the middle of strife, you cannot hear God’s voice.

One man said strife is like putting a rattlesnake in a baby crib.  Strife is a sure death to some of the things that people have been trying to do in God.  So, we need to get all strife out of our lives at all cost.  That way we are setting up an environment for harvest to come forth.  Sometimes people are sowing seed but not receiving harvests because of strife.

The other thing, Joseph was down in Egypt because he was sown there. There Joseph brought forth a harvest for the nation of Israel and because of that he was used by God to save the whole world from famine. Joseph is kind of like Jesus.  In John 12:24, it talks about the same thing,

John 12:24 (KJV) Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die, it abideth alone: but if it die, it bringeth forth much fruit.

Sometimes people put their money in the offering bucket and they watch the bucket go all the way down the row because they don’t want to let go of that seed; but I want to encourage you to let it go even if you have to let it go with tears.  I got good news for you, that soon you are going to have some joy because God never ever forgets a seed you have sown.

God has a harvest for you and the way He gets it back to you is through the sowing of your seed.  So, as you sow, don’t be sad and looking at that seed leave you in the offering bucket but put it in the bucket and look straight ahead and smile, knowing it will be all right because your harvest is coming soon.  Psalm 126:5-6 (KJV) They that sow in tears shall reap in joy. 6 He that goeth forth and weepeth, bearing precious seed, shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, bringing his sheaves with
