Did you know God is a God of extravagance?  God gives to you like only He can give.  He is your Father and He gave you His Son Jesus.  God so loved you and the rest of the world and He gave Jesus, His very best, to save you and the world. That’s God’s nature.  He wants the very best for you and He wants you to desire the very best.

In John chapter 2 Jesus and His disciples went to a wedding in Cana of Galilee.  Now they are about to see a bonafide miracle of extravagance Father God was about to perform through Jesus.

Jesus’ mother went to Jesus and told Jesus they had no more wine and Jesus replied,

John 2:4 (KJV) Woman, what have I to do with thee? mine hour is not yet come.

Mary paid no attention to what Jesus said and told the servants to do whatever he said to them.

John 2:7 (KJV) Jesus saith unto them, Fill the waterpots with water. And they filled them up to the brim.

Now these weddings lasted for several days so they have been drinking all those days and drunk up all the wine.  Each water pot contained 20 or 30 gallons of water each.  Jesus is about to be bonafide and Jesus is going to get some bonafide miracle of wine.  So, He told the servants to fill all the water pots with water and take it to the governor of the feast.  This governor knows what good wine tastes like.  The governor said, normally they put the good wine out in the beginning and when they are drunk they put out that which is worse; but you have saved the good wine to the last.

On the internet the best, the most expensive wine is about $300,000 a bottle. With this bonafide miracle they now have 20 or 30 gallons and 6 water pots of the best.  Jesus didn’t just give them some wine, but He gave them something that was bonafide.

Jesus first miracle of turning water into wine was a miracle of luxury.

Religion will make you think that for you to get a miracle you have to be hurting, you have to be really bad off, on your last leg, the doctor has given you only two days to live; but not so in the Kingdom because God is a God of extravagance.

Why would you have a rich God and you are broke?  Only religion would make you believe you have to be broke.

I know Paul said he knew how to live well and I know how to live without; but I am telling you that God is extravagant.  If you don’t believe He is then look at the gifts of gold, frankincense and myrrh the caravan of magi brought to Joseph and Mary when Jesus was a child.  It wasn’t three wise men a caravan of magi and the donkeys were staggering with gold. I have heard it was worth four million dollars’ worth.  God will finance you as well and He will do it with extravagance; but you got to think, believe and expect your God is an extravagant God.

We have been bringing God down to what we believe is possible and we have been getting just that, but those days are over now for the Church. The Church is about to go up to what we are supposed to be, bonafide like Jesus.  There is going to be clear difference between us and the rest of the world.  We are reigning as kings on the earth through our dominion mandate.

Now I am not talking about greed; but why would your God be the richest in the universe and leave you poor or barely getting along?  You got some kind of craziness in your mind if you think He wants you to be poor and barely get along.  God wants to bless you better then you want to bless yourself.  God wants it so you can take care of your whole neighborhood block and send every one of them to school and have not only illiterate in your block.

God wants to equip you so that people will know that He is with you.  Only religion makes you believe God doesn’t want you to have much, especially anything extravagant.  Religion is designed to blind and kill you.  Religion always puts you in a place of nonresistance. “God’s just trying to teach me something.”  No, the devil is trying to kill you.  God is a good God and He is an extravagant God.  God took care of your needs before you were even born.  So, don’t let anybody talk you out of your stuff.

The devil knows if you get money, then you are going to get control what he is holding power over.

Let God bonafide you with His extravagance so that others can see your extravagant God and get their attention. You won’t have to testify to them or give them a Christian track.  No, all it will take is a bonafide miracle of extravagance in your life.  That is exactly what happened in King Solomon’s day when the Queen of Sheba came to see King Solomon and she was overcome by all the wealth of his kingdom.  Psalm 112 tells us that wealth and riches shall be in the house of the righteous.

Your God is wealthy and extravagant.  Everything in Heaven is extravagant.  He doesn’t have streets of concrete.  He’s got streets paved with gold. Jesus told us to pray, “Thy will be done on earth as it is in Heaven.”  Now all it takes is to believe and receive by faith that you are bonafide with God’s extravagance.
