Hello, my name is Jeremy Williams. The purpose of this blog is to inform people of the power of God working in my life. From week to week, I’ll be discussing subjects on health, the mind and body connection, society and the nature of the beast, true Christianity, and religion. I hope the things that I have learned and experienced, will be able to help you in your journey in this life. My first topic is on the subject of “the need to prove oneself.” For most of my life, I constantly had this problem. I was a “people pleaser” and to make matters worse, I was a hardcore perfectionist. I was always trying to figure out everything to improve a situation and trying to control the situation. If I made a mistake at my job or what I was doing, my mind and heart would go haywire and I would freak out that I had failed. Plus, I would freak out if my boss or co-worker would get upset about my failure. This led me to constantly beat myself up and be my own worst enemy.
Another thing that really fueled my perfectionism was living without sin. Religion always made you feel like that if you have any sin in your life, that there is something wrong with you and you need to stop sinning or else! That put me under constant fear and I felt like my soul and heart was in a prison. I felt like no matter how much I tried to stay out of sin or to please God, it was never enough. I felt like nothing I ever did was good enough. This caused sin to reign in my life. I Corinthians 15:56 says that “strength of sin is the law” and the more we try to prove we can stay out of sin or eliminate sin out of our lives, the more sin will entangle our hearts and we will be imprisoned by it.
After awhile, I started realizing that this was a delusion I was living in due to being exposed to religion and growing up in an environment that fueled with perfectionism. Through the help and guidance of my friends, as well as getting wisdom and understanding from God, I have been able to overcome perfectionism, people pleasing, overcome sin and keep it out of my life.
The first step I took to overcome this problem was to speak to my heart and reprogram it with statements like “I have nothing to prove because I have Jesus Christ’s righteousness.” We have nothing left to prove because when we accept Jesus Christ into our hearts, we receive His righteousness. We become one with Him in the spiritual realm. We can’t prove anything in our own strength because our righteousness is as filthy rags. When we accept Jesus into our hearts, we become kings and priests unto the Most High God. Literally, you are a king through Christ Jesus! Kings never have to prove themselves because they have authority and dominion. When Jesus died on the Cross and rose from the grave, He bought back all authority and dominion that Adam lost when he gave it up to Satan in the Garden of Eden. We have the same authority and dominion on this earth as Jesus did. We just need to receive that revelation in our hearts.
Once I received this revelation, I stopped proving myself to people, to myself and even God. Since then, sin has been losing its power over me. Things that used to bother and stress me out don’t even faze me anymore. It’s all about programming into your heart the fact that you have Jesus’ righteousness and because of that, you have nothing to prove! After the Lord taught me this, He showed me how to apply it at my jobs. There were times that I felt that I didn’t do a good enough job and I was tempted to ask them if they thought I did a good job, but the Lord corrected me and told me that I didn’t need to ask them for their approval because they had a tainted view of reality according to the flesh. The same thing goes for me; I can’t judge my performance either because my flesh has a tainted view on things. When the Lord gave me this wisdom, it brought me even more freedom in not having to prove myself.
The Lord once told me in my heart that whenever He sees me, all He sees is Jesus. That means He sees me perfect through Christ Jesus. If God was still judging me for my sins or failures, then what Jesus did on the Cross wasn’t good enough. We are spiritually perfect and complete through Christ Jesus. We just need to believe that in our heart and soul realm to live it out on this earth.
Every morning I wake up, I always program my heart that I will have an effortless day. Everything that I do will be effortless and easy. I proclaim that everything I put my hands to will prosper. I say that my day will be filled with victory and success. Once I have programmed that into my heart, it effortlessly comes to pass in my life.
I’m sure most of you have heard the song, “I’m Only Human” with the lyrics, “I’m only human. I’m just a man/woman.” Sad to say most Christians believe that but the truth is we are a spirit. We are born from heaven above by the spirit of God and so we are not just human but we are supernatural spirit beings. We should be thinking about this and talking about this all of the time or else we will be talking and singing, “I’m only human. I’m just a man/woman.” And live in that natural, carnal, limited to the human realm where God seems far off from us and we can’t hear His voice.
Of course you know my purpose at God’s Word Alive and God’s Word Alive Blog is to encourage and empower Christians with God’s Word so they live no longer as mere men/women out of the vanity of their minds but they live as the new man in Christ Jesus in the glory of God and this also is the reason I write this blog. Writing this blog I want you to realize that you are not just human but you are first and foremost a spirit being possessing five spiritual senses with which you can contact the spirit realm and see in the spirit, hear in the spirit, taste in the spirit, touch things in the spirit and smell in the spirit; having spiritual perception or discernment through your spirit man while at the same time pick up on things in the natural realm.
This is exactly what happened to Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden all the time and so they could see and hear in the spirit realm and the physical realm at the same time. This was normal for them. They walked and talked with God while in the Garden on planet earth. Through the rebirth of our spirit we can expect to experience the same and know God just as intimately and come to the place where His voice is totally clear to us.
Jesus living as a man anointed by the Holy Spirit on this earth had the same ability of sensing things in the spirit, picking up on things in the spirit and in the natural all at the same time and He is our example. Jesus perceived by the spirit what some religious men were thinking. He perceived supernatural power flowing out of Him. Jesus picked up on things in the spirit by His spirit man all of the time. He was focused on what God the Father was speaking to Him all of the time and what the Spirit of God was showing Him and that is why His ministry was so powerful. We should have the same experience.
Let’s look at a scripture where Isaiah prophesied Jesus anointed by the Holy Spirit would live out of his spirit and would be discerning, perceiving things by His spirit.
Isa 11:2-4 And the spirit of the LORD shall rest upon him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the LORD;3 And shall make him of quick understanding in the fear of the LORD: and he shall not judge after the sight of his eyes, neither reprove after the hearing of his ears:4 But with righteousness shall he judge the poor, and reprove with equity for the meek of the earth: and he shall smite the earth with the rod of his mouth, and with the breath of his lips shall he slay the wicked.KJV
Jesus judged things not by the sight of his natural eyes nor the hearing of his natural ears even though He was aware of things around Him through His physical senses but Jesus judged all things by the spirit man senses even while picking up on things naturally. He saw people around him, heard their voices and felt the heat of the day but Jesus was always aware of his spirit man; picking up on the voice of the Father, or discerning by His spirit what the Holy Spirit was speaking to Him or showing Him. This is our example to follow.
We are not just human but we are a spirit being capable of seeing and hearing in the spirit and if ever there was a time we need to pick up on the Father’s voice, the Holy Spirit’s guidance and angels speaking and ministering to us it is this day.
Jesus heard the voice of the Father and so can Christians today. Jesus had guidance by the Holy Spirit of God and the Holy Spirit’s guidance is promised and available to every believer in Christ today. Jesus had contact with angels who came and ministered to Him and this should be what every Christians can and should expect daily. All of this is available to us as we exercise our spiritual senses daily and perceive, discern, have a witness and feel in the spirit.
Heb 5:14 But strong meat belongeth to them that are of full age, even those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil. KJV
Exercising these spiritual senses we learn to pick up on what Father God is speaking to us by His Spirit and cooperate with Him. Father’s voice might sound at first like a clap of thunder as some expressed in the New Testament at Jesus’ baptism when Father spoke because they were so spiritually dull of hearing. It might even sound like, as some thought, the voice of an angel or something supernatural. But as we continue to exercise our spiritual senses we will begin to discern clearly the voice of the Holy Spirit speaking to us and guiding us or this is an angel giving us a message from heaven or sense or feel this or that is what you are supposed to do about a particular situation or this is not the time I go to a certain place or move to a certain place or leave a job. This is what is our capability as we exercise our spiritual senses.
By reason of use we train our spiritual senses to discern between good and evil and by reason of use our spiritual senses can make distinction between the voice of the Father, the voice of Jesus and the voice of the Holy Spirit and the voice of angels and discern what they are speaking, showing us and where they are leading us. Our mind is like in the middle point of a titter-totter with our physical senses on one end and the spirit man’s senses on the other end and in order for us to hear the voice of Father God or Jesus or the Holy Spirit or angels we have to train ourselves to continually switch back and forth between our spiritual senses and our natural senses.
John 16:13 Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come. KJV
The Holy Spirit is going to speak to us while we are on this earth and He going to do it in three ways; He is going to guide, speak and show us things to come. Two out of the three ways He is going to speak to us is nonverbal. And so we need to exercise our spiritual senses and pick up on what He is speaking to us. You may have a strong prompting to call a person you haven’t seen in a long time and when you call they are in deep depression and you are able to minister to them and find solutions to their problems. You might feel strongly you shouldn’t go your regular route to work and find out later you avoided an accident. We need to hear God speak to us but just as importantly we need to obey immediately what He prompts us to do because it could be a life or death situation.
I believe many Christians can’t hear God speaking to them because they are so in touch with just the natural, physical realm. Their every day life, time, energy, and focus is so much on carnal, natural living.
If we focused on these scriptures in Heb 5:14 and John 6:13 I just gave you and meditated them and received them as our way of life on this earth then we would have more and more spiritual perception and experience life in the spirit. But let me tell you it will take some focus on these spiritual truths. How much time are we seeking life in the spirit? Remember what Jesus said, “Seek first the kingdom of God.” Paul tells us in Col 3:1-3 If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God.2 Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth.3 For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God. KJV So spiritual perception will take not only a desire but also your focus, your seeking after.
I’ll give you examples of the Holy Spirit speaking to you, which all of you probably have encountered something similar and didn’t realize that it was the Holy Spirit speaking to you:
You wanted to purchase an item from a store and one day you decide you will go to the store and buy this item; but every time you think about this you just have a feeling down in your spirit man that you shouldn’t go. Instead of listening to this impression you go to the store and find they do not have the item in stock or it was not what you were wanting. That was the Holy Spirit trying to tell you not to go to the store. It’s small impressions like this that we must pay attention to and immediately be obedient so that we will continue to hear Him speak to us more clearly and learn this is one of the ways God speaks to us.
There are a lot of Christians who want God to speak to them, they want to hear God’s voice but they fail to realize that they may hear an audible voice and they might not. They may just perceive something. They may have an impression. They may experience heaviness in their spirit about a situation. This is the Holy Spirit speaking to them.
We are also able through our spiritual senses to pick up on angels that are around us who are here to help us and deliver messages to us from the Father.
I have just posted a section on my website, God’s Word Alive, called “Exercising You Spiritual Senses” and I explain how you can pick up on the presence of an angel and also how to distinguish the difference between the voice of the Holy Spirit and an angel.
With our spiritual senses we are able to pick up on demons and demonic things around us. We are able to pick up on New Age and other religions which are not according to the Word of God. We are also able to pick up on diseases and even death by the spiritual sense of smell. Everything Satan does stinks in the spirit. We are also able to pick up on heavenly scents. We are able by our spiritual senses to pick up on a sin or an addiction someone is dealing with and given the opportunity we can bring deliverance to them.
We truly need to learn to exercise our spiritual senses so that we can hear God more clearly and live and move out of our spirit man so that from this vantage point we will out smart Satan and demons and stop their plans to kill, steal and destroy.
The Apostle Paul exercised his spiritual senses and avoided the plans of Satan to kill him and the crew members on board a ship. He was able to receive help from an angel who gave him instruction what they were to do and also told Paul God would deliver them from this shipwreck they were headed for. The situation turned out with no person losing their life because Paul exercised his spiritual senses and picked up on the plan of Satan to kill them but then he also was able to see and hear the angel who came to give him a message from the Lord they would be safe because God would intervene and then give them instruction of what to do.
All of us have a purpose or a God plan for our lives just as Moses, Joshua, David, Esther, Ruth in the bible and just as they knew for certain what that purpose was and moved in that direction and the completion of that plan; so too by our spiritual senses we will be able to hear God’s voice and perceive and discern our purpose and receive instruction how to move into that purpose and complete it as well.
If you want to hear the voice of God, if you want to avoid the plans of the enemy to kill, steal and destroy and if we want to know what the plan of God is for your life; then you must exercise your spiritual senses and obey immediately.

On July 4th we celebrate the United States founding, marking the day in 1776 that the Continental Congress formally adopted the Declaration of Independence which declared our independence from Great Britain.
I believe this day should not only be a national holiday celebrating the United States of America’s independence but I think just as importantly we Christians should also celebrate the liberty we have in Christ Jesus.
Paul tells us to “stand fast” in our liberty in Christ Jesus which means we are to persevere, stand firm and hold our ground. Just as America or any other country must preserve in order to maintain freedom and protection of its rights, so we Christians must stand fast in protecting our spiritual freedom. “Standing fast” also reveals our freedom in Christ doesn’t function automatically. We each have a part to play. Legalism is the devils’ greatest weapon and so we must resist every attempt of our enemy to draw us back into self effort.
Just before this passage Paul had compared being under the law to being a descendant of the slave woman, Hagar, and therefore not an heir of the promises of God. Not one of us wants to be cast out from the inheritance of God so we need to steadfastly defend our liberty which we have received through faith in Christ.
This liberty Paul was speaking of was freedom from the oppression of the Old Testament law. Paul makes it clear in verses 13-15 this liberty is not freedom to sin but freedom from sin.
Paul used the word “entangled”. We are to be no longer entangled with the law’s demands in which we are trying to find God’s favor or God’s acceptance through our performance.
The “yoke of bondage” is the Old Testament law. This leaves us no doubt that the law was not for the purpose of liberty but bondage.
If we trust in any religious act (circumcision, water baptism, holiness) except Christ they all void the saving effects of Christ in our lives.
There is a simple way to detect what our faith is in by simply imagining standing before God and giving God the reason why we should be allowed into heaven. If our answer is our church attendance, our giving, our acts of holiness or any other thing, then those are what our faith is in. We would be no different from any other religion who is trying to work their way to heaven and trying to please God. We would be trusting in our own efforts to produce salvation and the favor of God.
So the only answer we could give that would make us worthy to enter into heaven would be what Jesus did for us. It has to be our total faith and our total trust in Jesus. It can’t be Jesus and something else.
Rom 11:6 And if by grace, then is it no more of works: otherwise grace is no more grace. But if it be of works, then is it no more grace: otherwise work is no more work. KJV
Let’s celebrate our new spiritual birth that comes only by Christ that meant we are no longer separated from God by our sins. We could not produce this spiritual rebirth for we are totally incapable of saving ourselves and therefore we need a Savior, the only true Savior Jesus Christ.
Rom 3:23-24 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;24 Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus: KJV
Rom 6:23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.KJV
Rom 7:9-11 Once I was alive, but quite apart from and unconscious of the Law. But when the commandment came, sin lived again and I died (was sentenced by the Law to death).10 And the very legal ordinance which was designed and intended to bring life actually proved [to mean to me] death. 11 For sin, seizing the opportunity and getting a hold on me [by taking its incentive] from the commandment, beguiled and entrapped and cheated me, and using it [as a weapon], killed me. AMP
Eph 2:1,5-10 And you hath he quickened, who were dead in trespasses and sins;5 Even when we were dead (slain) by [our own] shortcomings and trespasses, He made us alive together in fellowship and in union with Christ; [He gave us the very life of Christ Himself, the same new life with which He quickened Him, for] it is by grace (His favor and mercy which you did not deserve) that you are saved (delivered from judgment and made partakers of Christ’s salvation).6 And He raised us up together with Him and made us sit down together [giving us joint seating with Him] in the heavenly sphere [by virtue of our being] in Christ Jesus (the Messiah, the Anointed One).7 He did this that He might clearly demonstrate through the ages to come the immeasurable (limitless, surpassing) riches of His free grace (His unmerited favor) in [His] kindness and goodness of heart toward us in Christ Jesus.8 For it is by free grace (God’s unmerited favor) that you are saved ( delivered from judgment and made partakers of Christ’s salvation) through [your] faith. And this [salvation] is not of yourselves [of your own doing, it came not through your own striving], but it is the gift of God;9 Not because of works [not the fulfillment of the Law's demands], lest any man should boast. [It is not the result of what anyone can possibly do, so no one can pride himself in it or take glory to himself.]10 For we are God’s [own] handiwork (His workmanship), recreated in Christ Jesus, [born anew] that we may do those good works which God predestined (planned beforehand) for us [taking paths which He prepared ahead of time], that we should walk in them [living the good life which He prearranged and made ready for us to live]. We simply believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and we are saved, delivered from the judgment of God for our sins. And it is the same when it comes to the favor of God, it can’t be earned through anything we could ever do but God’s favor only comes by one Man, Jesus Christ, by His finished work at Calvary for us.
If you have not yet received Jesus as your Savior and Lord and want to receive this new birth right now, here is a simple prayer you can pray: Father God, I am a sinner. I repent of sin. I ask you to forgive me of my sins and cleanse me with the blood of Jesus from all sins. Come into my heart Lord Jesus Christ. I give you my life. I receive you as my Father, my Savior and my Lord. Amen.

There are lots of hopeless people in this world today. Could you be one of them? If you are then you have come to the right place to get some hope! I am passing out some hope today on my blog and you just came to the right blog at the right time! I love to give out hope!
I had a person recently tell me, “I have no faith.” What they were really telling me was, “I have no hope.”
Why do more people not have hope today? My answer is we look for hope in all the wrong places. Here’s what I mean by that:
Hopeless people abound in our society because people have looked for hope in all of the wrong places. And the number one person we look to in order to get us some hope is ourselves, but we find out real quickly our hope fades if it’s all left up to us. And then the “get some hope” list goes like this: We have hopes our costly education will bring us a successful career but we were too qualified when we applied for a job or the field our education prepared us for is not available in our residential area or there were others ahead of us more qualified. We thought we had found some hope with having money, lots of money but that certainly turned out to be not what we had hoped for because it didn’t change the person on the inside us we don’t like, it can’t change our husband or wife or children or change a whole lot of other things. Then we had hopes and dreams with the great job and big paycheck but with the bad economy those hopes and dreams quickly came to an end and NOW WE KNOW FOR SURE THERE IS NO HOPE!! Well then there are the government programs to give us assistance but it’s never enough! Somewhere in this list we start looking for a husband or wife, “There’s the person of my hopes and dreams,” but that hope too is short lived because of irreconcilable differences. We had hopes things would turn out all right with our health problems and sought doctors who prescribed medications and then there were hospital stays but with the national health care insurance not covering it all the unpaid bills continue to come in any way and now we are in PANIC mode!!! Then we had hoped we could borrow some money from the bank to pay all those unpaid bills and the mortgage but are refused and it seems nothing IS WORKING!!! And then with embarrassment written on our face we seek help from family members but they too are stretched in their own finances and so it’s another failed attempt to fix our hopeless situation. We might even try the lottery but that only put us further in the hole! Then we might out of desperation go to a pastor or a Christian friend but we don’t want to hear them preach to us!
Does any of this sound familiar? We all have been at one of these places at one time or another. I think this is commonplace in our society today because we are counting on “old number one” (that’s us) to get us some hope! We are so dependent on natural things and people to give us hope but they can only, it turns out, give us some limited hope, short lived hope, false hope, or no hope at all?!
I told you I am passing out some hope today because THERE IS HOPE! So I am going to give you the formula (it’s not a secret) that produces all the hope you need in this world and it’s hope that never will fail you. That kind of hope only comes from one place, or I should say, from one Source and that is GOD! He gives out all the hope we need in this world every time we go to Him. Here’s the simple but yet successful formula to having all the hope you need in this world:
Hope is vitally important! Without hope we will have no faith; faith in God, faith in ourselves and faith in our situations working out to our success. Faith needs hope in order to produce something. Hope is the blueprint, the dream, the desire, the prayer for what faith produces.
God’s hope, God’s blueprint for your life will give you all the hope you need in this world every single day but again you have to continue to use the formula that produces this kind of God Hope.
God never intended for any human He created to be without hope for HE IS HOPE! That’s what you will experience in His presence, in His lavish, unconditional love and in His promises to you.
God’s hope is vitally important! It is vital to your survival in this world!
True hope, believe it or not, does not come from money and riches and wealth, from a spouse, from a job or career, from the government, from the doctor or other professionals or anyone else, including our self, nor things but true, lasting hope comes from getting in God’s presence, allowing Him to speak words of hope to us, experiencing His lavish, unconditional love and receiving God’s promises of hope that contain no fine print.
Abundant life, life worth living is found in the hope of God. So receive the hope God and I are offering you today so you too can give some God hope to this hopeless world looking in all the wrong places and looking to all the wrong people.

On this National Day of Prayer I am going to be repenting to the Lord for our nation, America, that we have gone so far away from making God our Great Physician and receiving our healing through Christ. We have made it so easy to go to the doctor, instead of the Great Physician, pop a pill or try to find some other way to get healed. We declare, “In God We Trust” but yet we are at this present hour a sick nation and working so hard to get a costly health care bill through and then where will that lead us. Maybe there will be provision for all and maybe not. Will all get the same benefits? How costly is it going to be for you and our nation?
It is time we remembered the God of the Bible and meditate scriptures that show us plainly the many ways God has provided for us to receive healing, signs and wonders and miracles. In the Old Testament, the Old Covenant, God had a way to heal the sick in the scripture below and I believe it represents Christ’s health care benefits as a result of Christ’s Cross for us today in the New Covenant:
Num 21:8-9 And the Lord said to Moses, Make a fiery serpent [of bronze] and set it on a pole; and everyone who is bitten, when he looks at it, shall live. 9 And Moses made a serpent of bronze and put it on a pole, and if a serpent had bitten any man, when he looked to the serpent of bronze [attentively, expectantly, with a steady and absorbing gaze], he lived. AMP
So let’s attentively, expectantly and with a steady and absorbing gaze look at the scriptures and allow the Great Physician tell us which way He wants to use to heal us and make us whole in each health issue we may face. The Holy Spirit will advice you just as He has me many times. We shouldn’t be so quick to phone the doctor, pop a pill, go to the clinic or hospital. Fear will drive us away from God’s healing power.
Once I was dizzy and the Holy Spirit told me to lie down and rest and when I did the dizziness went away. Once my twin sister was having heaviness in her chest and the Holy Spirit told her to take a teaspoon of honey and it went away. I am not saying this is your treatment for the Holy Spirit knows your body and He knows what you should do or what way He has provided in the scriptures for you for your healing and wholeness.
My family and I have received our healing this way for over 30 years and have not had a doctor, medicine or hospital stay. So we have proven the truth of God’s Word to heal.
I have listed below a few scriptures showing us God’s ways to receive our healing and still there is an inexhaustible health care plan all through the scriptures I couldn’t possibly list here.
God Is The Great Physician:
Ex 15:26 I am the LORD that healeth thee. KJV
Holy Spirit Is Here As Your Health Care Counselor:
John 14:16 And I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Comforter (Counselor, Helper, Intercessor, Advocate, Strengthener, and Standby), that He may remain with you forever — AMP
The Manifested Presence, Glory of God, Carries The Healing, Miracles & Signs & Wonders:
Luke 5:17 and the power of the Lord was present to heal them. KJV
It Is Through The Love Of God & His Mercy & Grace We Are Healed:
Matt 14:14 And Jesus went forth, and saw a great multitude, and was moved with compassion toward them, and he healed their sick. KJV
Heb 4:16 Let us then fearlessly and confidently and boldly draw near to the throne of grace (the throne of God’s unmerited favor to us sinners), that we may receive mercy [for our failures] and find grace to help in good time for every need [appropriate help and well-timed help, coming just when we need it]. The systems of this world are trying to box us in, fence us in, tie our hands, and put pressure on us in order to make us believe things can’t be changed, we can’t go beyond certain limits, “there’s no way out” and we are just confined to what this world dictates. Our society, culture and family set limits for us so we expect little or nothing to change for us. We are made fun of! “Who do you think you are that you think you can do that with your education, your qualifications, your background, and where you live? That is impossible!” And as a result a lot of Christians want to escape all of this and go to heaven! But we must remember God knew what these times were going to be like when He planned out our life “before the foundation of the world” and it’s God’s plan we need to be focusing on instead of all the limitations. It is times like these we need to remember one of Jesus’ last prayers that included us:
John 17:8-9 For I have given unto them the words which thou gavest me; and they have received them, 9 I pray for them: I pray not for the world, but for them which thou hast given me; for they are thine. 11 And now I am no more in the world, but these are in the world, and I come to thee. Holy Father, keep through thine own name those whom thou hast given me,…14 I have given them thy word; and the world hath hated them, because they are not of the world, even as I am not of the world.15 I pray not that thou shouldest take them out of the world, but that thou shouldest keep them from the evil. 16 They are not of the world, even as I am not of the world.17 Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth. KJV
Jesus prayed the Father would not take us out of the world but that He would keep us from the evil and that we were not of this world (controlled, restained, restricted to the world’s system of operation) and He prayed the Father would sanctify us (separate us to Him and His Kingdom) through the truth, “Thy word is truth”. What Jesus prayed here is very important for us to understand. He tells us it’s the truth of God’s Word that will sanctify or separate us from the world. God’s Word takes off the limits! It takes us out of the box, removes all the fences that fence us in, gets us out of debt, eliminates limited income and limited job opportunities and limited answers to health issues and all other limitations.
Jesus declared, ‘thy word is truth”. Now that is a very important statement for us to remember if we are going to stay here on earth and our lives come out from under the control of the world system. Jesus also told us:
John 8:32 And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free. KJV
Revelation knowledge of God’s truth about you is what takes off all limits; allowing you to think out of the box, dare dream again, and dare pray beyond the limits this world sets for you.
Father God wants us in the world living above and beyond the limits of the world.
We are not of this world for we are seated with Christ in heavenly places above all the limitations this world sets for us:
Eph 2:6-7 And He raised us up together with Him and made us sit down together [giving us joint seating with Him] in the heavenly sphere [by virtue of our being] in Christ Jesus (the Messiah, the Anointed One). 7 He did this that He might clearly demonstrate through the ages to come the immeasurable (limitless, surpassing) riches of His free grace (His unmerited favor) in [His] kindness and goodness of heart toward us in Christ Jesus. AMP
Did you get that? Father God is going to show in the ages to come the “immeasurable, limitless, surpassing riches of His free grace, and His kindness and goodness toward us. Sounds like all limits are off!
Eph 3:20 Now to Him Who, by (in consequence of) the [action of His] power that is at work within us, is able to [carry out His purpose and] do superabundantly, far over and above all that we [dare] ask or think [infinitely beyond our highest prayers, desires, thoughts, hopes, or dreams] AMP
This means all limitations, restrictions this world places on us are off! It’s taken off by the power to comprehend God’s purpose, his plan, His truth we are living out of another realm and establishing our hearts in those truths.
Col 3:1If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above (the Kingdom), where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God. KJV
Matt 6:33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.KJV
We don’t seek answers any more as mere natural, carnal men/women. We don’t seek another government for the Kingdom of God is our government, our source, our provision, our answer and solution to all things.
Jesus is our example of living beyond the limits of a natural government by means of the Kingdom of Heaven. Faced with not enough food, instead of talking limitation like His disciples, “Jesus looked up to heaven” and gave thanks and feed a whole multitude and had leftovers. The limits were taken off!
Psalms 112 there is record of a man who established his heart on God’s Word as being the truth about him no matter what the facts were in his world. Look at this scripture closely for this scripture is written for us to get a picture of what an uncompromising stand on the truth will produce for us as well.
Ps 112:1,6-8 PRAISE THE Lord! (Hallelujah!) Blessed (happy, fortunate, to be envied) is the man who fears (reveres and worships) the Lord, who delights greatly in His commandments. His [spiritual] offspring shall be mighty upon earth; the generation of the upright shall be blessed. Prosperity and welfare are in his house, and his righteousness endures forever. 6 He will not be moved forever; the [uncompromisingly] righteous… 7 He shall not be afraid of evil tidings; his heart is firmly fixed, trusting (leaning on and being confident) in the Lord. 8 His heart is established and steady, he will not be afraid while he waits to see his desire established upon his adversaries. AMP
If this man were in the earth today he would not listen and give his time and attention to all the evil reports, the negative facts and get scared; allowing them to cause him to waver and compromise his stand on the truth of God’s Word. No!
This man would establish in his heart the truth of God’s Word. Let me tell you, we are to be the Psalms 112 man/woman in this time!
How does your heart get established in the truth of God’s Word like that? It takes meditation of the Word to establish your thoughts, it takes focus on the reality the Word of God is the truth and all other information are just facts that are subject to change by the Word of truth. It takes constant fellowship and communion with the Lord.
Olympians do much like what I am talking about. To stay prepared for the Olympics and the sure win of a medal, their training must remain constant right up to the Olympics. Day in and day out they are working at getting better. There is not much time for anything else. It takes a lot of time and hard work to be prepared to win.
We need to be just as diligent in establishing our hearts in the truth of God’s Word. We don’t allow our ears to constantly hear things contrary to the Word of Truth about us. We look and observe only what aligns with the Truth. We only allow our emotions, our feelings move us in line with the truth of God’s Word.
Prov 4:23 Above all else, guard your heart, for it affects everything you do. NLT
We guard, protect our heart (our soul) with the truth of God’s Word and then it affects everything, including the limits of this world.
Abraham, our father of faith, had to guard his heart when God gave Him promise of a son in his old age and Sarah, his wife, had always been barren. It was ridiculous to think it could happen! Old age and barrenness were the facts! But Abraham became “fully persuaded” when he continually, constantly focused on, and paid attention only to the truth of God’s promise to him.
Rom 4:19-21 He did not weaken in faith when he considered the [utter] impotence of his own body, which was as good as dead because he was about a hundred years old, or [when he considered] the barrenness of Sarah’s [deadened] womb. 20 No unbelief or distrust made him waver (doubtingly question) concerning the promise of God, but he grew strong and was empowered by faith as he gave praise and glory to God, 21 Fully satisfied and assured that God was able and mighty to keep His word and to do what He had promised. AMP
Well Abraham got his son no matter what the facts were!
Just like Abraham we have to decide we are not going to consider the facts contrary to the promise of God has given us and thereby become fully persuaded and receive our promise.
I have been confessing of late a powerful confession that establishes my heart in the truth of God’s Word: “I harden my heart towards anything that speaks against the truth of God’s Word about me. I harden my heart towards anything my five physical senses tell me that is contrary to the truth of God’s Word about me and instead give my attention to the senses of my spirit. I harden my heart against facts contrary to God’s promises to me.” The Spirit of God told me hardening my heart confessions such as these are powerful confessions and I could tell He was very, very pleased.
The bible tells us Pharaoh hardened his heart and would not let the people of God go from Egypt! That is what I am talking about, we just won’t compromise!
God told me many years ago, “Glorious and grand is the plan I have for you.” Has it always looked that way? No, but I continue to remind myself of those words instead of the facts that stand in the way.
We need to recall the truth of God’s Word, God’s promise to us and the prophetic words spoken over us and start declaring them as never before.

Most senior citizens these days are making plans for their future and most are planning for getting old and gray and feeble and losing their health, losing their hair, losing their mind, losing their mate, losing this and losing that and ending up in a nursing home and being a real pain to their family. If you see them at the mall or they are out with their friends what they mostly talk about is the government health care plan, Medicare and Medicaid and most are worried about their future and planning for the very worst.
Well I will not join in with that bunch and I hope you don’t either.
I have a senior plan I want to submit to you that I think you will want. Backed by the Word of God, if you believe this plan is for you and take it as your own; then you will have a biblical senior plan for your days ahead that will be “glorious and grand”.
This senior plan for our future comes out of the covenant we have with God through Jesus Christ. We can be absolutely certain it will turn out just exactly as we had planned, for this covenant’s promises are guaranteed by the blood of Jesus and each word contains spiritual substance, spiritual power to bring it to pass. All we have to do is take this senior plan as our own by declaring this shall be our outcome. It’s a sure thing like at creation when God spoke and the worlds were created from His words. Now God has given His Word for our use to create our future plans.
So will you join with me and make your senior plans with the promises of God that contains no fine print or disclaimers and start receiving heaven’s benefits?
You must remember once you take this senior plan you cannot join in with the other bunch and speak against this covenant plan God has given you for your future or it will nullify God’s plan. Just tell those misinformed seniors you have another plan. If they ask about it, then share as the Lord leads you for there maybe some that would discourage your faith and trust in God’s plan for your future.
Let’s start with Ephesians 2:10 and declare what our future is going to be as a result of being in Christ. (Just remember these words have enough power in them to bring the promises to pass when we speak them out of our mouth, declaring our future outcome.)
FIRST, RECOGNIZE & DECLARE WHO YOU REALLY ARE & WHAT ARE YOUR SENIOR BENEFITS:
Eph 2:10 For we are God’s [own] handiwork (His workmanship), recreated in Christ Jesus, [born anew] that we may do those good works which God predestined (planned beforehand) for us [taking paths which He prepared ahead of time], that we should walk in them [living the good life which He prearranged and made ready for us to live]. AMP
2 Cor 5:16 Wherefore henceforth know we no man after the flesh: KJV
(You should no longer see yourself after the flesh but rather after the “new man in Christ” which makes all the difference in your future.)
Rom 8:2 For the law of the Spirit of life [which is] in Christ Jesus [the law of our new being] has freed me from the law of sin and of death. AMP
LONG LIFE WITH HEAVEN FILLED DAYS:
Prov 3:1-2 MY SON, forget not my law or teaching, but let your heart keep my commandments; 2 For length of days and years of a life [worth living] and tranquility [inward and outward and continuing through old age till death], these shall they add to you. AMP
Deut 11:21 That your days may be multiplied, and the days of your children, in the land which the LORD sware unto your fathers to give them, as the days of heaven upon the earth. KJV
Ps 91:16 With long life will I satisfy him… AMP
Ps 103:5 Who satisfies your mouth [your necessity and desire at your personal age and situation] with good so that your youth, renewed, is like the eagle’s [strong, overcoming, soaring]! AMP
DIVINE HEALING & HEALTH:
Ps 105:37 He brought them forth also with silver and gold: and there was not one feeble person among their tribes. KJV
Prov 4:20-22 My son, attend to my words; incline thine ear unto my sayings. 21 Let them not depart from thine eyes; keep them in the midst of thine heart. 22 For they are life unto those that find them, and health to all their flesh. KJV (Footnote KJV: Medicine to all your flesh.)
Rom 8:11 But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you. KJV
Deut 34:7 And Moses was an hundred and twenty years old when he died: his eye was not dim, nor his natural force abated. KJV
(We have a better covenant than Moses so we can expect an even better outcome.)
Prov 20:12 The hearing ear, and the seeing eye, the LORD hath made even both of them. KJV
Song 6:5-6 Your hair is like a flock of goats trailing down from Mount Gilead. 6 Your teeth are like a flock of ewes coming from their washing, of which all are in pairs, and not one of them is missing. AMP
Isa 32:3-4 Then the eyes of those who see will not be closed or dimmed, and the ears of those who hear will listen. 4 And the mind of the rash will understand knowledge and have good judgment, and the tongue of the stammerers will speak readily and plainly. AMP
(Stammering makes me think of a stroke, which is another curse Christ has purchased our freedom from, so declare it by faith.)

It is important to realize as Seniors that we are “in Christ” and so it is important we meditate the “In Him” scriptures so we are not looking at ourselves and our circumstances from a natural point of view but rather have the spiritual perspective of all things in our lives. “In Him” scriptures show us how God’s sees, “in Christ” and wants us to believe, pray and receive according to these “In Him” scriptures that are the truth about us. Facing any kind of sickness or disease can be challenging to your faith. Here are some truths the Holy Spirit shared with me to help you when the enemy tries to play mind games in order to destroy your faith and keep you from receiving divine healing and divine health. Don’t let him fence your mind in with ungodly lies against the truth of God’s Word about you no matter if he would use a medical professional, a loved one, a trusted friend or even some minister.
1) First, you must settle in your thinking that God loves you unconditionally at all times and it is not based on your performance or anything else or it wouldn’t be unconditionally love. God wants to heal you because He loves you! This is the truth you must start with because your faith works by love. The Word of God also tells you,
1 John 4:16-19 And we know (understand, recognize, are conscious of, by observation and by experience) and believe (adhere to and put faith in and rely on) the love God cherishes for us. God is love,… 17 In this [union and communion with Him] love is brought to completion and attains perfection with us,… 18 There is no fear in love [dread does not exist], but full-grown (complete, perfect) love turns fear out of doors and expels every trace of terror! For fear brings with it the thought of punishment, and [so] he who is afraid has not reached the full maturity of love [is not yet grown into love's complete perfection]. 19 We love Him, because He first loved us. AMP
Pay attention to what I am telling you! It can save your life!
If you are not convinced and your mind wavers on this truth; the only way to change your mind is through meditating the Word of God that clearly reveals God unconditional love. I have placed some “unconditional love” scriptures on my site, www.godswordalive.com and also offer a book and ebook, “Father God Loves Me Forever!”, to help you meditate.
Jesus came to this earth to reveal the Father, Father of unconditional love, and then Jesus “healed them all” and He will do the same for you.
2) Get this truth that cancer or no other sickness and disease is a God send to you for His glory and that God sent this to you to teach you something. It is when people are healed and made whole they give glory to God. God is not the author of sickness and disease but He is the author of life, more abundant life, to the full until it overflows is what the Word tells us. Also God is not a child abuser and this scripture plainly tells you how He corrects you:
2 Tim 3:16-17 Every Scripture is God-breathed (given by His inspiration) and profitable for instruction, for reproof and conviction of sin, for correction of error and discipline in obedience, [and] for training in righteousness (in holy living, in conformity to God’s will in thought, purpose, and action), 17 So that the man of God may be complete and proficient, well fitted and thoroughly equipped for every good work. AMP
3) You must get control of your emotions and you do that by maintaining healthy thoughts that come from meditation of the Word of God, the truth about you in Christ. Negative thoughts lead you to negative emotions and negative emotions lead you to wrong decisions and in the wrong direction. Your thoughts, feelings, and emotions are corrupted by lies against the Word of God coming by way of your five physical senses, lies of demons and the negative, unscriptural beliefs of others.
You cannot feel sorry for yourself! You must not allow any negative emotion take control of you whether it is fear, feeling sorry for yourself, sadness or grief, guilt, shame, condemnation, etc. Cancer and any other sickness and disease thrive on these kinds of emotions so you can’t afford these emotions that are deadly.
Instead of cowering down under these emotions you need to speak forth the truth about yourself in Christ and tell your emotions, “Emotions, you don’t control me anymore for I am led and controlled by the Spirit of God!”
Then speak to the cancer or any other sickness and disease something like this, “Cancer, sickness, and disease, you are of the devil! You have to leave my body right now, in the name of Jesus! Jesus defeated you and by His victory over you I am totally freed from you once and for all! You can’t stay in my body any longer! You absolutely have no dominion, no authority or no power over my life or over my body any longer! Jesus Christ is Lord over my life! So you can’t kill me! You can’t kill me! You cannot destroy me or my destiny! I will give you no more of my time or attention for I give none of my time or attention to liars and you are lying against the finished work of Christ that is right now producing healing and wholeness in my body!
You must speak this with authority and mean it! Don’t back down! After you have spoken these things with authority along with the Word of God; then have others speak with authority the same things over you.
4) You cannot afford to pay attention to what others tell you that speaks against the Word of God and speaks against what Jesus has already done for you by His death, burial and resurrection. And it doesn’t make any difference if it is your mother, your dear grandmother, a trusted friend or even the medical professional. If any of these people are prone to just look at how things look naturally, they are not the ones to hang around and converse with day after day but you instead need to converse with people of faith and certainly with the Holy Spirit who lives in you and you need to meditate and speak the truth of God’s Word concerning your life now in Christ Jesus.
5) Come to the place where you have a real hatred for cancer and all other sickness and disease just like your heavenly Father does.
6) Choose right now to live by faith and not by sight! That means you will not rely on, depend on only what your five physical senses tell you, especially when they tell you things that are contrary to what the Word of God speaks about you in Christ Jesus.
7) Choose to live by faith your sixth sense which is the faith God gave you at your new birth. With faith applied to the Word of God you will then be able to live by the senses of the spirit; seeing, hearing, smelling, tasting and touching all things by your spirit. The senses of the spirit reveal hidden things and give you a total picture of your situation from God’s view.
8) Most importantly of all get into the presence of God daily where you can rest and enter into the peace of God and the glory of God, where things don’t take a long time to manifest! Get into the glory zone! Enter into His rest where you will see yourself healed and made whole by His work and not yours!
I call forth the angelic host to assist you in your stand and help bring healing and wholeness to you now.

I have had this word so strong for someone the last 2 days.
I kept having a vision of a woman at the back of a crowd and she had a great need.
Well we all know the story of the woman with the issue of blood, don’t we? I thought about this woman. She must have been at least middle aged I would think, as she had had this problem for a long time. She had several things against her before she even started. One, she was a woman. She shouldn’t be up front with the men, so being at the back was “ok” to a lot of people. Two, the issue of blood would have made her weak I would think. Three, there was a crowd in between her and Jesus.
Let me say something here. She was seeking a healing, so there was a specific need.
When she saw Jesus she saw the source of her healing.
Whatever your need is today, He (Jesus) is the Source. It’s not a CD. It’s not a meeting. It’s not a ministry. It’s Him, Jesus. He is your Source. Whatever it is (your need) He is the One. If you need a word for direction or if you need healing or you need provision or maybe you need deliverance; He is the Provider, the Healer, the Deliverer, the Good Shepherd, the Savior, the Fount Of All Blessing. He is able to save to the uttermost (“From the gutter most to the uttermost,” a famous hymn writer once said).
When they needed more wine at the wedding (because they didn’t want to be ashamed) Mary said, “Whatever He says to you, do it.”
So today my friend, “Whatever He says to you, do it.” He may tell you to get a certain CD, He may tell you to go to a certain meeting or read a particular book (He does use the body of Christ). He may tell you to sit, He may tell you to go, He may tell you to pray, He may tell you to sing, He may tell you to dance, but one thing I know; He is the Source, He is your Source.
Jesus was crucified on the cross naked and nakedness speaks of need. He crucified your need so that you can live in His provision. God doesn’t get glory in your need, although He loves you and is wild about you; but He does get glory when your needs are met and you share in His life with Him.
Whether you like it or not you are His advertisement. And guess what? He is a very good God and a very gracious and loving and generous and extravagant God. And He is your Daddy. He is mighty God but He is also “Abba” (Daddy).
Well this little lady at the back of the crowd got a revelation about Jesus and when she saw the source of her healing, do you know what she did? The Bible said, “She pushed through the crowd.”
For a lady to push (or a man for that matter); that’s not very polite is it? “The Kingdom of Heaven suffers violence and the violent take it by force.”
Some people sit at the back of the crowd and have an attitude, “Well if Jesus wants to heal me, He knows where I am.”
Well yes He does, but you also have to receive something that He has already provided. And do you know there is most always a crowd in the way between you and your receiving?
So what are you gonna do with your crowd? Be intimidated? Say, “Well He knows where I live if He wants to fill me with the Holy Spirit.”
No. No. Sometimes you have to push! “Excuse me! I need to get through here!”
And the lady pushed people out of the way!
How rude! There isn’t time to let your little politeness keep you out of the way. Sometimes they are not in the truth anyway. You can please men and miss God. You can submit to men and not do what God is telling you to do.
Some sweet Christians have a spirit of rebellion because they please men and don’t obey God. If you obey God sometimes you are like the salmon swimming upstream.
“Get out of the way!” And she touched the hem of His garment and “Wow!” She got blasted and got healed. She touched Jesus with a violence because He felt virtue go out of Him.
“Who touched Me?”
Sounds very Jewish.
What do you mean, “Who touched you? Look at this big crowd.”
You have to be determined to touch Him. What is your crowd? Your family? Your busy lifestyle? Your church perhaps, their opinions? But you need to push through the crowd, your crowd.
What do you want? It’s ok to ask.
There is no point in God making every provision for us and we don’t receive it. It sounds spiritual to say, “We are just seeking Him?” There is a certain truth to that but on the other hand, He provided for you everything you could possibly ask or even think of in your entire life.
He wants people to say, “Look at those Christians. What do they have that they are so radiant and so blessed?”
I have heard people get upset when they have been prayed for. “He pushed me!”
Sometimes you need to be pushed.
When Peter and John offered prayer for healing for the crippled man at the gate “Beautiful”, it says “They pulled him up.”
Suppose He had said, “Well I don’t know if I will receive this healing because they pulled me? Maybe it wasn’t God.”
How ridiculous. We are so religious sometimes.
Like the man who was drowning and someone threw him a life raft. He said, “No, I am waiting for God to save me.”
Well go ahead and drown then. God mostly uses people.
